Hey Buk, You owe no hater an explanation or debate. Your record is even more than your recordings. Those who follow you know that your facts speak more volume than a hater's bullshit. As fellow Ranger alumni, musician and Vine St crew, one thing we learned growing up was resilience and how to handle the bullies. Eastlake was full of them. We all had the opportunity to leave here, move to Nashville and make a go of it. You did it and took it all the way. @@501chorusecho By the way.... Neither brand is ‘better‘, really. Both have useful, brilliant designs that offer unique opportunities. I was a severe Martin snob for decades until I picked up and played a beat to shit J-50 from who knows when. I offered to trade my D-35 straight across on the spot, it was so great, but no dice. It humbled me and taught an important lesson: almost all guitars have something- you just have to go in there and dig it out. I noticed that you said much the same thing at some point. For4 the hell of it, I restored a 1914 Supertone guitar a couple of years back- an $8.17 guitar from the first sears catalog. It has a certain thing that is absolutely fabulous to pull out of it. No Martin or Gibson has that thing. It is unique and kind of great.

Not very long. Many thanks to Uncle Larry for keeping this a nice place to hang/learn/talk/socialize, and for keeping the crap out! We are all very blessed for everything. When someone is extremely talented and is very successful...Proof is in the pudding and there is no way to lie with all these amazing videos of how well Mr. Bukovac plays many different guitars and many different ways!!!! Because of that JEALOUSY kicks in with some and then those who are jealous try to tear that person done in any way they can find.
Tom you’re my favorite guitarist. You have such amazing feel and such a vast library of knowledge. Love your channel and thanks for sharing all your knowledge.

Both guitars sound amazing in their own way! Thanks for the videos man, they’re really great. As soon as I get up every day I get on UA-cam to see if you’ve posted anything new. These videos have become part of my everyday life and I appreciate them so much!
Love the fatal attraction reference 😂. Glad you know that 99% appreciate this channel and your wisdom more that you’ll ever know. Gibson vs Martin, I vote the dry fundamental tone of the Gibson

One of these progressions you did, from A to Amaj7 to A7 and then to that B over D thing - so effing good. Marcus King has a whole song built around this exact progression and i love it so much. So cool to see it here again in a different context.
I admit I'm a bit biased being born/raised in Cleveland, but I get so much enjoyment and entertainment out of everything you post. Please keep doing this.
Dang! There’s so many messed up people out there. Loserly folks gunning for you that have to make up lies because they’re insanely jealous! It’s sad. I think you’re amazing Little Tommy! Thank you!
Tom, Big thanks, I took your advice from a few videos back talking about those old J45/50's and the need to have at least 13 gauge strings on them. I had 12's on my 62 J50 for a while now and my wife filled the Christmas stocking with some DR sunbeam 13's and so far I'm really digging them and the guitar sounds great. Telephone line is fave of mine, love the video floating around UA-cam of Jeff on acoustic playing that with Richard Tandy backing him up on piano. Saw the handwritten lyrics to it in the hall of fame and got weepy looking at them.
Tommy, you’ve inspired me to stop bullshitting and pick up a scale book and learn something about guitar after 20 years of playing by ear. I couldn’t tell you what an A-shape B# Minor looks like even though I’ve played it a million times, pitiful. Anyway thanks man, you’re an inspiration to young people everywhere.

thank you so much my friend...cheers
Real Guitar Player Thank you!! Just amazing musicianship!
A huge Thank You to you and Guthrie for adding a 2nd night to your Chicago appearance at Martyr's. Just grabbed 2 tickets and I'm stoked.
Strong opinions? Is that the word when it’s based on so much deep experience? I learn so much quality stuff on this chanel. I knew a lot before the corona lessons, but You keep on opening doors to deep and interesting insight. For free!! These days that’s a diamond in the rough
I'm just catching up, been sick for about a week or so 8(. Fighting stuff? I'm a bit shocked, that was totally unexpected! So glad it didn't make its way here, and that Uncle Larry keeps it out of here! When Social Media started I thought, this could be good, wonder how long it will take for some jerk to screw it up. Not very long. Many thanks to Uncle Larry for keeping this a nice place to hang/learn/talk/socialize, and for keeping the crap out! We are all very blessed for everything. Just can't find anymore right now. Hope everything is ok Uncle L! A lot of people here love you, and care a lot about you! Take care out there. Peace -gary
Telephone line and Mr. Blue sky were a couple favorites growing up in the 70's. Great songs!!!
FANTABBIDOSO. what a beautiful song. I've always been a Martin guy but that gibson was made for that song. I need an old gibson like that ❤. Thanks uncle
thank you uncle alien
Just what I need. Thanks Uncle Larry 👌🏻
I've been watching you for a year or two. Wherever you are getting inspiration from right now is a good place. Thanks for the videos.
Thanks for what You do. I feel like if I watch videos from guys like You and Tim Pierce and play along I will greatly improve on the lead and rhythm guitar skills I have . Up it a few notches. Thanks
Tom please stop giving these haters any time. Your way above these guys.
Absolutely. Just let them fade away into their inconsequential fantasy worlds.
@@mover57 Fully agree!
Both guitars sound amazing in their own way! Thanks for the videos man, they’re really great. As soon as I get up every day I get on UA-cam to see if you’ve posted anything new. These videos have become part of my everyday life and I appreciate them so much!
This video was the perfect background while I updated my pedalboard a tiny bit and changed strings. Always a pleasure, sir.
I got the "do wah, ditty- do wah, do wah, wah, Wah- ah, ah ah..." in my brain, from your beautiful acoustic guitar rendition of that ELO song.
Love your transparency and honesty.. Love what you’ve done for classmates and myself.
Truly inspiring
Aways great to see you, Professor
Cheers 😎
Way cool Tom! Thanks again as always!
I didn’t think anyone else liked that tune . So good to hear it Tom. ❤ Wise man .
One day I'll make the VCB, and then I'll be happy!
This should make the VCB! Cheers dude!
Love the fatal attraction reference 😂.
Glad you know that 99% appreciate this channel and your wisdom more that you’ll ever know.
Gibson vs Martin, I vote the dry fundamental tone of the Gibson
Thanks for making these videos. Many are appreciative. Fuck the haters.
Those trolls can kick rocks. I gave about 5 mins between the two of them listening to their videos and they were such BS I just turned them off. Totally ridiculous. Anyways, I love it here. Thanks for all the great vids man. They are always something I look forward to each day.
We need to question the people who are believing this crap.
Thanks for the morning uplift, Tom. I really needed it today❤
Tom!! My dear Uncle Larry!! I am so proud of you. Your one of the greatest people
How many times these few clowns out there try to put you down. You probably got 5 new sessions booked in the time this dude made up the bull shit. I truly love all your work and knowledge. Plus funny as shit ❤
Ps: Martin in this case
You always know you’re doing some good stuff out there when folks start making up lies. 🙏
I learn so much from watching you play. Love these videos.
Love the stories and guitar playing. Don't sweat the fake haters...the world has ways of putting them in their place...i hope to catch a live show someday. Take care
Tom , thanks for the inspiration . Always enjoyed ELO .
One of these progressions you did, from A to Amaj7 to A7 and then to that B over D thing - so effing good. Marcus King has a whole song built around this exact progression and i love it so much. So cool to see it here again in a different context.
Please don’t change what you do. You have made my music life so much better. Let the haters, hate! Fuck em!!
Uncanny, been playing this over the weekend. Lovely arrangement you’ve done there Tom.
Thank you!
Love ya Tommy; thanks for the knowledge!
Mornin Uncle Larry, nice to hear ya.
The ony good thing about COVID-19 was finding Uncle Larry.
Tom,
Big thanks, I took your advice from a few videos back talking about those old J45/50's and the need to have at least 13 gauge strings on them.
That’s it brother!
