Yeah man, my experience there was not so great! Not sure if it was just a bad trip, or if it was because i was in a weakened state since I was ill, and it was attracting more negative situations! But i did have a hard time. It is without a doubt a super interesting country, I'm glad i went, but im not sure if i would go back to be honest. But some people love it.
I recommend you to visit Algeria my friend. Nice people ,clean country and great food and not to much tourism. Many UA-camrs that visit Algeria said its their favorite country they ever visited.
I will strongly consider that mate, I think I would enjoy that! I'm currently pushing my way to South Africa so once I finish this journey I think I will make my way there! 🙌🏼🤙🏼
Chris good thing you stood up to that DISHONEST Indian dude. There are lots of nice folks in India and at the same time in the major cities and touristy places there are a lot of scammers and dishonest business people. The hotel situation is a humdinger experience too. If you fancy, go to Tapovan, Rishikesh or Manali in Himachal Pradesh. Pure mountains and more laid back. I was in India for 6 months until last March. If I Ever go back, it's just to Himachal Pradesh, Rishikesh and maybe Varanasi again.
Your actually the second person who has told me to take that route, so it's definitely something I will look into! Bro thanks for the info and the comment 🤙🏼 Where are you from?

Good video mate. I've been to India 3 times in the last 18 months and have honestly had great experiences with each visit. There were also circumstances and people I came across that absolutely ruined the vibe. India is not for the faint of heart and as a hobby travel and street photographer I will keep going back as it is a unique place. People are always wowed by the images but don't realise the chaos involved in capturing them, not to mention the smells. Fark me, some little knobhead threw a bucket of Ganges water at me during Holi and I drank it because he caught me off guard with my gob open. Ruined me proper for a couple days I've never shat and vomited so much I think the guest house wanted me to leave..
Mate when I was there is had the worst time I've ever had in any country, even when things were good I was hating it, but I was sick the entire time, even when I looked better on camera I wasn't. I'd also been travelling for 3 months, 4 counties prior to India so I was exhausted. Now I'm editing the videos of India, after Kolkata I can see how there was many great experiences but I was too unwell to truly enjoy any of them. But there still is some good and fun content coming out soon, the rest of the journey was a little better than what the last two vidoes showed. If you stick around you'll see when I release them, one coming out tomorrow bro! Ufff Ganges water in the mouth, that's like swallowing poison lol I get you were glued to the toilet 😂😂😂
Yeah bro I was a lot better but I never fully recovered until I went to the hospital a month and a half later in Pakistan, they gave me antibiotic drip and some meds and now I'm good 💪🏼💪🏼 new vid coming out in a few days of varinasi bro. Stay safe Sash thanks for watching bro. 🤙🏼🤙🏼🇦🇺
Yeah I'm feeling much better now, thanks Sara. Yeah he was a thief, nothing more nothing less, but unfortunately there is just so many there and it wears you down!
Chris, we get like 100,000 Indians each month in Australia. We can't recognise some places anymore. They are everywhere causing huge concerns. Especially in the health system. Big mistake by our government.
All foreigners please research what are the different climates existing temperatures months wise through out the year in India, coz from March till May there is super hot temperatures in India where you can't find in your country.
Take care Chris, I've been to India a few times. It can be a difficult country to navigate. Was just watching your you tube clip in Nimbin. Quite a contrast lol.
I've met countless travellers who wouldn't use mobile apps and services to book hotels, cabs, buses, trains (like most locals) because apparently they want to go 'old school travelling' and then cry and crib all the time
I tired to use the mobile app, the price was acceptable but I wanted to see it before I booked it, got there and after I arrived all of a sudden it said online that it was booked out, when it actually wasn't, then they stung me with a big price, way more than online, I was too sick to fight about it, but it was all a husstle in the end 🤷🏻
95% of the time all I use is apps, sometimes you can't, either you have no data, service or things appear to be booked out, then you have no choice. If you were an experienced traveller you would know this!
@@farandbeyond Just use Redbus to book buses. Go by rating. And don't shy away from paying few extra dollars for better services when it comes to anything in India. You get what you pay for. Haven't seen those in Delhi in 20 years. It seems Kolkata is decades behind other metropolitans. Cheers !
Great advice, truth is this is old footage bro, I've already crossed all of India, at the time of filming the trains where fully booked and the busses too as it was last minute, I'd planned to take a sleeper, but come time to book they were all filled up, it worked out cheaper to fly than stay in that hotel another night and also pay travel. That's why I flew, but from varinasi all the way to Amritsar I took busses, which was a cool experience! The last but I took was so nice, clean comfortable and affordable, I wish we had them in Australia.
