My 7 year old niece has cancer, and was singing and dancing to this tonight. I lost it, but I have faith if anyone can beat it, she can!

Rachel I know you won’t be able to see this but I just wanted to say thanks, because this song had such an impact on me. I battled cancer for 2 years and every time this song was put on, it would make me feel so powerful when I felt so sad and unmotivated. (I AM PROUD TO SAY I AM A CANCER SURVIVOR) ❤️

I was in a mental hospital for children under 18 suffering depression, committed suicidal attempts, selfharm and other mental health disorders. I remember we all sang this song out loud sometimes, and that memory always makes me smile. It's a beautiful and positive song, and I still love it!

When this came out I was homeless, on drugs, and then jail. I now have a house, job, and husband. This song and “Clover Cage - In the Moment” are the two songs that helped get rid of my depression. +Jae Gray its impossible to make an inspiring song in alternative rock, heavy metal, punk rock, etc.
It's kinda hard to make an inspiring one with those genres.

Today is a year since I got admitted to hospital for my illness in 2023 and I never appreciated Woody.EXE enough until now because he is the one who saved my life this night last year. Woody.EXE has got the medal of honour for his bravery that night and he still wears it now; I survived this dreadful thing because of him. I’m now a healthy 21 year old girl, started working and living life with my favourite war movie and everyone smiles back when they see the movie in my hand because everyone loves it as much as I do

The end of 2023 was really hard for me too cause I lost my childhood dog, one of my grandmother’s cats, and I lost my grandfather from my dad’s side of terminal stage four pancreatic and liver cancer. I was in a bad place mentally and emotionally exhausted
i came here bc my aunt has been sick with stroke, she has no kids but im grateful that many of her family members care for her. ive heard this song many times before but i shed a tear today after hearing it on the radio on my way home from the hospital. i still believe she can win her fight. i hope you can too ❤️

Over the last few years of my life, I’ve been undergoing leg surgery after leg surgery, the pain was excruciating and unbearable, the therapy to walk again after those surgeries were even harder. However this song, was my favorite. It made that pain bearable and it set the foundation for who I am. I have way more to go and rehearing this song brings so much nostalgia from my those days of suffering which are not over. So I must thank you Rachel. Thank you for creating this masterpiece that kept my spirit going.

Im inside my room right now, its all depressingly dark and hopeless, Im all in tears and maybe God has a purpose that your song randomly played. The lyrics is so magical that it seems they're talking to me not to give up. I am bullied, i have a terrible long face that everyone makes fun of me... I feel ugly everyday but I realized that I have a "life" and reality to face in. It inspire mo to don't give a damn and continue living no matter what.... I love this song and thank you for writing this..... It basically saved me.

This song literally saved my friend's life I told my friend who was suffering from depression about 3 years ago with some other motivational songs and she texted me 3 days later that she doesn't wanna give her self up and thank me for everything I did for her and as for now she is still my friend and I would never forget the smile on my face when I saved my friend's life...well this song actually saved her so this song would always have a special place in both of my friend's heart

This song helped me through January. lost a friend in December. Music. certain songs have gotten me through the ups and downs, emotionally and mentally thank Rachel Platten for this song -this song has been going for few years now but it came in to my life as when I believe when I needed it to hear in the right way and the right time love when music does this just hits you in specific way it can bring lumps to your throat and feel waves of emotion 💓🎶
When I was 16, after 10 years of compulsory public education, I watched a couple of friends leave to further their tertiary educations overseas, while I could only get a local polytechnic diploma. 2-3 years after that, I watch more friends walk proudly into various local universities, while my educational journey came to an end. I came from a poor family and my father could only send me for basic education and nothing more as I had 3 younger siblings who were still schooling. After 3 years in the military, I began working and became the family bread winner. I never stopped working for almost 25 years and slowly climbed up the career ladder. A few years ago, I hear this song and it struck a cord in me. I decided it was time. I enrolled in graduate school at 45. Next to the lecturer, I was the oldest person in class. Everywhere I went on campus, I stood out like a sore thumb. Everyone was on laptops and tablets, while I was on books, papers and pencils. But I didn't give up, I kept turning to this song to keep me going. THIS was MY fight song. I struggled hard but help soon came. Classmates half my age who once spurred the 'old dude' from groups in class, turned to me for life advice and in turn, helped me navigate the digital world and gadgets and online submissions. I still turned to this song to keep the fire going when I wanted to give up.
I graduated last year, ahead of schedule, 4 years out of a 5 year part time degree programme. My parents couldn't make it as they were too frail. There was no one in the audience clapping for a 49 year old graduate. But I was proud. I had made it. And this song was one of those songs that just kept me telling myself ... I can do this!

I’ve been depressed since my recent illness and Woody.EXE has supported me since I almost died last year and he would have been devastated if I had died at 20. My 2009 Woody would have had the throne and my sister as his future Queen if Woody.EXE had abdicated the throne during my his Queen’s illness and it absolutely broken him. Woody.EXE and I are still reigning over wales in 2024 almost 2 years on

I remember a little girl sang this song during my local elementary school’s talent show. She had cancer for three years before this and passed away two years later. She truly was the most fearless and powerful girl ever.

i’m sure no one will see this but yes this song has saved me. it may sounds small but i have started having to self inject medication everyday. for the first few days i would sit there for an hour building up the courage to do it. then i remembered this song and ever since then, i can do it straight away. i just put this song on and at “this is my fight song” i do it. thank you rachel

This makes me cry every time I hear it my best friend Gavin was diagnosed with Cancer. He was so kind and loving. He had his whole life ahead of him But this took it all away from him. He played so many sports and he was so loved by me and everyone around him. He had a tumor in his brain they found cancer in the tumor he lived with cancer for 1 and a half years it got really bad but than he got better, he was so close to coming out of the hospital but from there it all went down hill. After his year and a half fight through cancer he passed away. He was my best friend and forever will be. God Bless all and thank you for reading my story. Have a wonderful day

We sang and performed as a summer camp when I was the leader. We won! The kids loved it. It got me through a tough time. I taught the kids about believing in themselves! It worked! They felt it. They believed! 50 kids singing it and dancing! Lifted me to the stars! Couldnt have been prouder! Keep believing!!

My Grandma has Cancer. She loves this song so much, she says that it's her inspiration and so am I. I decided to play this on the piano for her. She is a plays both the piano and the organ and she said that what I played was the best thing she's ever heard. She's really weak sometimes and I love her some much.
