PEER Careers in Veterinary Medicine Interview Series.
Representative Charles "Doc" Anderson is a veterinarian in the Texas House of Representatives. He describes how he got involved with the Texas Legislature, the importance of veterinary representation within the House, and how individuals can get involved in the process. There are currently four veterinarians within the Texas House of Representatives.
BONUS SECTION: Doc Anderson recounts several significant issues he has encountered during his career in the Texas Legislature, including some dynamics within the House, seatbelts in school busses, and the battle with Goliath in the Ring of Fire.
