Nice work Aldryn. My experience with the two drones is very similar. The Hubsan drone flies great, but the camera has a long way to go. The Mini 2 is heads and tails better video quality. It's not even close.
The Hubsan drone in manual mode with the correct settings makes the DJI MINI camera look like trash. Low light included. You buy a camera drone for the camera so learn how to use it. Zino Mini, 4k 30fps / 1/60 shutter speed. The DJI MINI can't touch it.
@@stickfurniture02 Why don’t you “put your money where your mouth is” by doing a side-by-side comparison of the Hubsan Zino Mini Pro vs the DJI Mini 2 in manual mode. Thanks for this nice comparison. I was really hoping to like the Hubsan, as I've avoided getting a mini 2 for lack of follow-me mode and obstacle avoidance features. My impression of the comparison videos is that the Husban seems to under-expose, has less dynamic range and a bluish color cast, over-sharpening artifacts with larger halos around objects, and 'jittery' stabilization compared to the DJI. Thanks for saving me the money!

I guess it's just personal preference on what you prefer, DJI has treated me well since I have been playing with their toys. I have a the 2 drones I need the mavic Air 2 & the mini 2. If I had money like that I would definitely buy these new ones and try them out but I just don't have it like that (💰 wise) 😂
Hi Dude, Thanks for sharing your video. I just have a quick question about those two drones. Which aircraft do you personally think has better image quality and realistic colors?
Referring to the video recording results. The Video image of Hubsan Zino Mini is shaking: it looks like the Image stabilizer is not working properly. Meanwhile the DJI Mini 2 video Image is so soft and just perfect stabilized... Thanks for this great video 👍🙏🙏
I was rooting for the Hubsan to do better but I think the mini 2 has it over all. The colors pop more and the mini is over all more refined drone. No matter if it does not obstacles avoidance and tracking.
When you pay all that money for either drone you pay for the camera. Manual mode is best on any camera and Zino mini is no different. 4k 30fps and 1/60 shutter speed and DJI can't touch it.

The Zino Mini Pro video still has a blue caste, and makes mess out of foliage fine detail..and then there's the jitter during forward flight. The Mini 2 performed As expected.
Seems to me like there's a little bit of camera jiggle in the Hubsan. I sort of like the contrast of Hubsan's video (it was less 'red' to me than DJI). Both seem to be good flyers, but if the primary goal is to have quality video I think DJI wins this battle.
If you look at the video from your camera pointing at you and looking at the ground color where you are, it matches the DJI Mini 2 perfectly, where the Hubsan Zion Mini Pro has a blueish washed out color. DJI Rules here of course.
Hubsan image quality is unacceptable. The fact it has a gimbal and does this is odd, it means either vibrations are making it to the camera/gimbal throwing it off, or the IMU in the gimbal is getting too jittery of a signal to correct for. Perhaps soft mounting the motors would help with that. They need to fix this ASAP.
Interesting video. I favor the dji mini 2. Seems to me the mini 2 has better and more vibrant color saturation. Hudson seems under exposed with lack of detail.
I was considering the hubsan. But after watching many videos and footage of what the Mini 2 can do, I decided that was my best option! Just want to say thank you for your content 🙏
Hubsan is cooler kinda like P4P. In a few shots it seemed to retain more detail than the Mini 2 but on my phone screen can't tell if that's just over sharpening. The jitter though is a deal breaker. Would be interested to see some blown up shots to compare detail and see if the 200Mbps advertised on the Hubsan makes any difference.
Seems to have similar stability, which is somewhat surprising given DJI's reputation for great camera stability. As far as picture richness, the Hubsan will require a bit of color correction during post. So, unless the user is very familiar with color correction editing, the DJI might be a better option.
I don't think the stabilization is close at all, you can see the Hubsun has slight jitters and shakes when in flight whereas the DJI is smooth as butter. look here 2:10

Great vid. Compared to the DJI, the Hubsan holds up nicely. But, the Hubsan showed a little weakness in the still shots where you can see vibrations in the video image. The color was off on the Zino Mini making the DJI pictures look a lot warmer.
Great video, thanks. The Mini 2 video quality is crisper and sharper all the way. Zino looks like a knockoff. Tracking is nice but most people only use it once in a while. I saw another comparison where the camera on the Zino was shaky when going back and forth up and down. My Mini is smooth as glass no rocking. Let us see what the Mini 3 brings us because possible this month. DJI had better top it because unless it is way better my Mini 2 and I are just fine.

I did notice in one shot the DJI had a white sky and the Hubsan had a blue sky, I think it might be just a matter of settings, Hubsan is more blue shifted with a slightly lower exposure. DJI scored in this test. A question, was this all auto photo or could the color variations be modified in manual ? That may change the Hubsan a lot.
excited with this, and waiting for giveaway winners
Thanks for the comparison 👍. Honestly who would choose Hubsan mini over the DJI mini2 ? For the price it’s a no Brainer 😬😆
Agree THE HASSELBLAD CAMERA IS FAR SUPERIOR IN THE MINI 2 COMPARED TO THE ZINO MIN
The Mini 2 had a warmer colour cast. On the Hubsan mini pro it had a colder greenish cast. I actually prefer the videos from the Mini 2.
Hi mr aldryn what's more stable dji mini 2 or hubsan zino mini pro? please answer
Hi love minis getting 1 soon 😃 wanna get a fly path case
I did notice in one shot the DJI had a white sky and the Hubsan had a blue sky, I think it might be just a matter of settings, Hubsan is more blue shifted with a slightly lower exposure. I think both are good, but DJI is more polished. Hubsan is known for taking up to 6 months fix everything after launch from what I hear

@@MVMTV4Videos there is no Hasselblad in the mini 2
Does hubsan have geofencing?
Hubsan seems to have quite a bit of shake in many clips, also the fly away went oddly skewed to the side, waiting for Nano+
biggest difference to me is the white balance. also the gimbal on the dji is way better.
