Vincent D’Onofrio and Jeff Goldblum created the greatest characters. I loved how they were both ‘kind of askew’ in different ways. They were brilliant in analyzing suspects and digging for the truth. CRIMINAL INTENT had the fewest seasons, but I never tire of watching these two work.
watching this show for the first time on peacock. didn't think i'd like nichols but must say he's almost as odd as goren and just as likeable. too bad he and the show didn't last.
@@TheNthDoctor One episode was because Goren was in Tennessee. (VDO probably had time off). Another, Eames was brought on to Wheeler/Nichols' case because Wheeler's water broke in Ross' office (where Eames took charge and in a cute scene, chided Ross and Nichols - "Detectives!" - for not noticing as Nichols looks down at the wet spot on the floor!). So Eames took Wheeler's place there.

I loved Jeff Goldblum in all LO, second only to Vince D'Onofrio, Chris Noth next, then Annabella Sciorra and Kathryn Erbe. JG spectacular
Jeff Goldblum was very underrated on this show. I liked his character and every other detective who was on the show.
He was horrible with his jibba jabba! He ain't no Bobby

To each his own I guess. I'm not one of these people who doesn't give new characters a chance.

wait hold up why is eames there?
There was a show or two where she was with Goldblum. I don't recall why.
I think bc Goren was set aside due to his medical problems
