Just love everything about this piece.
He did this 'Madrid' and I was walking in Barcelona again down La Rambla under the sun with a glass of Sangria in my hand, sunglasses on and nobody was fucking with me. I was black and free to be. The police just smiled and waved and a lady officer complimented me on my eyes. It was beautiful!

The first half of this song feels to me so familiar with Azamer Bishvahin Adama, from the album Sensitive Hours... It can be a total nonsense, but I can't help but to (try to) sing/mumble its lyrics in my head everytime I hear Madrid. Two for the 'price' of one, I guess :)
This song came on in an NPR Eclectic playlist and I loved it. I wrote down the name of the song and lost and tried to find it for years. I finally found it and I haven't stopped listening to it since! It's saved on my playlist (so I won't forget or lost it lol) Such a great song!
