What’s up, everybody?! It’s Josh from American 🇺🇸 AF Dumpsters, and it’s one of those rainy Mondays where I don’t want to be out here, but you know we’ve got work to do! 💪
Today, I’m dealing with something a little different - scammers. Over the weekend, we had several online dumpster bookings come through using stolen credit cards. One of them had me curious, so I decided to take a 25-yard dumpster to the customer and see if they’d ditch the scammer and book with us directly.
This video is a behind-the-scenes look at how we handle scam bookings, why it’s important to stay vigilant, and what you can do if you ever find yourself in a similar situation. I’ll also share some tips on how we deal with these scams and turn them into opportunities.
From there, it’s all about navigating the rain, handling reschedules, and keeping the business rolling. Rain or shine, we’re out here hustling and getting dumpsters to customers. Plus, I’m sharing a crazy busy project that’s wrapping up - with over 12-15 dumpster turns for a big client!

Yep I just dealt with one last week. Tried to say he didn’t know English and only spoke Spanish. Luckily for him my wife does. His confidence sank and then tried to call us the scammers 😂

How did you find out so quickly that it was stolen card? I got screwed charged but didn’t happen till like 10 days later…

Wow bro I feel you we get that alot out here in Hawaii the bad part is this island is small so the word gets out thru drivers and what they do is they change there name then when I pull up I recognize them then I just let my boss know hey there here under another name stay vigilant
It’s ridiculous! And the real customers are complicit knowing they are getting a dumpster for half the price!

How are you liking the 40s? I hardly ever get calls for 40 but was thinking about adding one
I have 5 40’s, and 10 30’s. I believe I’ll be adding way more 30’s in the future than I will 40’s. They are just more versatile and sell themselves. Live having the 40’s for those times when a customer will take nothing less, but 30’s are way more popular.
