@@Gheeotine it's a romance drama with an unusually suspenseful dark plot which deals with grief and depression. I'd say it's less of a romance anime and leans more into the latter which makes it so good.

Tbh, beyond the nostalgic factor, I don't really like the Pokemon anime. The writing makes it come across as more of a marketing exercise.
