I don't do sample packs. (Ok, I got like two.) My 64 GB card is 3 times more than I need. My issue was the speed of data transfer, not the size. I really don't use a lot of samples, I just prefer to generate my sounds with synths and drum machines. I mostly just capture quotes and lines from movies when I use a sampler or I use it as drum machine. Once in a blue I will use my S2400 as the sole device for a jam. Cheers!

I’d be curious to hear how you use the S2400 with modern MPC. I have a S2400 on the way and am trying ti decide if I want to use with a DAW or MPC. I’m leaning towards just using Logic Pro with it and my other synths and drum machines.

I think it’s counterintuitive. Use it however u want but i think both machines Function flawlessly without each other. I use the daw only to grab files if need be. Other than that i do everything in the box. I have tracked out a few beats but i prefer not too. I can export song right out the 2400

@@BeatsbyLonzaI’m really curious if I can do whole tracks on the S2400. I mostly use the DAW just as a tape deck to mix down to. I don’t use any sounds or tracking in the DAW usually. Maybe some effects at the end but I mostly use hardware. Sometimes I might sample from the DAW but that’s about it. I have sp404 and tr-8s. So I’m probably not gonna need a MPC. I don’t need another workflow to learn. But I have just always wanted one but I decided to go with the S2400 instead.

@@BigMuff520 you definitely can, trust me. It’s a work flow to learn but it won’t take long once you invest time.
