For me I’ve been playing cs for 24 years (31 now.) I used to watch and care about the pro scene in 1.6 back then as a little kid. I played in CAL leagues in 1.6 and source. It’s always mattered to me but NA massively underperformed in cs go except for the teams that Stew were on. He’s the only player who won the grand slam and major on teams that were actually NA and didn’t need to go outside of the region for success. He was the IGL of the first NA team to win a big lan event in cs go when they beat SK gaming who were one of if not the best team in the world at the time and he beat them in their home country Brazil, the first cs go tournament held there. Does it matter to my day to day life? Nah it’s not going to put food on my table. But I love the game and I have pride in my country and region and Stew was an American who competed with Europeans and wasn’t scared. He was a winner
After revisiting cs and the og players in general after hearing what you went through, man i felt so sad because i loved your content in and out of the competitive scene. Watching you play with players like shroud live in esl and seeing you interact with moe, s0m and even peak Liquid. I loved every single bit. I watched this pretty late but i hope you're still friends with them and i wished they defended you. I love you and your shit bro keep the grind up. i don't think it's over for you just yet. I totally understand where Stewie is coming from with regards to the maLek situation, but you would think that he would understand that it is also a two-way street. Everyone is different and approaches things differently, and you have to find that middle-ground sometimes. It may not be totally applicable in that situation, however it does stand true. Not working for 100% of the team is a different story.

I started searching for more CS and loved the style of stewie2k how tf is he so confident. My journey started from watching only stewie2k and then supporting when he was on liquid, i still love liquid because stew was a part of it. Dont count the loudest few that bark shit, we know your worth and what you gave to the CS, the plays the content. I hope whatever you do, you find success. But I wish is you to succeed at cs2, i know its your choice but I just wish I can see my one of favourites to be back in business and show what he got.

Ive been a diehard c9 fan since 2014 and a stewie fan since he replaced seangares. I enjoy watching him play valo with tarik or soloQ. And I hope to see him come back to CS at some point, and if he doesnt he will still be one of the legends of c9 that brought us a major so I thank him for that.

I've always assumed most pro players go through burnout constantly, the majority of these guys days are playing the same game 8+ hours a day and their "offseason" is two weeks. A longer off season would benefit viewership and the players mental health.
Regardless of whether or not you were toxic, you shaped NA CS in a way that nobody else really ever did. The C9 era was legendary and even though Liquid was up and down, the name Stewie2k always promised a good match.
