Constantine divorced Easter 🐣🐇 from Passover in 325AD. Easter use to be held on ABIB 16. In 2024 Easter and Passover aren't even held in the same Lunar Moon-th due to Hillel II's 19 year Metonic Cycle which has the potential of throwing off an entire years worth of Feast and Fast days and his 'RULES OF POSTPONEMENT' moving around feast, fast and new moon 🌙 days that interfere with Venus day night 🌃 and the day of Saturn 🪐. The New Moon 🌙 is still and the Sabbath Originally was Dependent upon the Lunar Cycle...("Holidays" Universal Jewish Encyclopedia p.410). PENTECOST was always celebrated in the Jerusalem Temple, aka the Father’s HOUSE and never ever in that Upper-Room.
When that Inaugural Day of PENTECOST had fully come, they (the Apostolic Band of Twelve) were in the Jerusalem Temple to inaugurate / launch their Ministry & Apostleship (Peter & the Eleven stood up Acts 2v14) them (as appointed Apostles) being empowered from on High.

The obvious geographical distance between the Jerusalem Temple and the Upper-Room @Bethany was a Sabbath day journey. away.

Not at all. The Apostles spoke in the tongues of the people visiting there in Jerusalem for the feast. They were actual languages people understood, and not ecstatic utterances.
@annpayne4381 - Ann, when you plant a garden are you forced to plant daffodils and daisies along with your other fruits and vegetables? However, can you, if you want to? Of course, and then along with the planted fruits and vegetables and other flowers you'll also get daffodils and daisies. So in terms of speaking in tongues, or praying and tongues - (some would call that a "Prayer language") you don't have to, no one's forcing you, however if it is an additional gift or blessing you may wish to add it to your abundant Christian Life simply by asking. Like anything else done in faith, it requires trust in He who loves us and wants to give us all good things. As always, the choice is yours 😌
