Gallagher was so popular he had his brother tour under his name and the brother did Gallagher's act. Operators were a well paid union job and they were that friendly to people, the education system was better back then and people tended to be well read and into self education.
I stayed in a room with a vibrating bed when I was a kid....it cost a dollar and my Dad told me "I'M not paying the same bed twice"....he was a bit of cheapskate lol
I love the "Mrs. Poole" scene in PT&A. She and Steve Martin interactions are always hilarious. PT&A and Three Amigos are some of my all-time faves. They always get me!
I think your really great! Love your style of comedy and it’s helping me thou a real struggle in my life right now!😊 love your podcast in the the morning.
Zoltan! Thanks for doing these weekly hangouts. I checked out your wrestling match with bob, that was something special I’m not sure we can do the drive to Nashville, pls add chattanooga!
"can't tell if it's a healthy horse or a sick child"....streets of Austin plop analysis..hahaha ..honest observational skillage is your forte, Zoltan. Always so funny
My husband now makes us listen to the podcast without the visual (and by that he pushes me into the adjoining room so he can watch the tv but I can only hear it) because he was tired of me making jokes about your head within a head.
TIP your waiters don't buddy up to them, in states like Virginia they make on avg outside DC area~$3/hour and the rest of income is assumed they relieve a 15% tip and tips are taxed esp if on a credit card. I'm on disability and dine out rarely but when I do I budget tip minimally 20-25%. Step up those who have plenty.
Zoltan, There is no comedy bubble, let's get real. In 1985, our personal communication on a phone was limited to non-working hours, while at home and the average call took 5 minutes. Now, the world is coming to an end and everyone has a personal computer in their pockets; people NEED to laugh at the hypocrisy of it all to keep them from offing themselves in record numbers. Comedy is a necessary occupation, my friend.
Now I know I'm old because I have stayed in hotels with vibrating beds, lol. Actually I think they were in more motels than hotels. Anyway, never tried one because using a vibrating bed when you're alone seems incredibly sad & if I was with someone the bed was likely already vibrating so...
I have to comment even though late to the party. In PT & A his wife is not too stupid to understand snowstorms. Her brain went to "he's having an affair" and they didn't need to write it in because it was all in her eyes when he came in with Del.
you do not get the money back if stolen, yes most times on the credit card but not if your checking, savings accounts are hacked really depends on bank, state you live in. It ruins people especially if you are lower income. More money you deposit the more they cover the rich, the poor not so much. I have to stop day drinking and smoking with my keyboard. Sorry
hilarious! please continue these with Mike and Emma, and occasional guests.
You and Mike play off eachother SO WELL 😂😂😂 Keep him on the 1s and 2s
YOU my friend are one of the best stand up talents out there. YOU are my favorite stand up!

One of my all-time favorite movies! We made it a Thanksgiving tradition to watch it every year. We've seen it dozens of times.
Happy Birthday Emma! Thank you for this podcast Mr. Zoltan! ❤️👍

I watch comedy to balance out the negativity of the news.
Welp- I’m off to find Planes, Trains and Automobiles! 😂
“It’s not so bad, just buff it up a little and it’ll be OK.”

I see a different side of you from these podcasts then the comedy’s. Ones not better than the other but it’s a nice balance
Identity theft is NO JOKE! RUINS YOUR LIFE.

This episode must be hilarious when you have seen the movie they talk about ...
Don't know that you'll see fit or actually care Zoltan, but here is a fifteen minute video on the history of the vibrating bed (or magic fingers).

Pretty sure you were gonna say Shania Taint
How come the co-hosts are off screen? Very entertaining otherwise.
