I am an electrical engineer with over 20 years of experience, and every once in a while (more like everyday)I like to watch a technical educational video to keep my skills sharp (not let them get rusty or dull over time). Neso is fantastic for this. For all of you electrical and computer engineering students that follow these videos, let me tell you that as a recruiter, and a digital HW architect, THESE are precisely the skills that you need to hone to be successful and Neso presents them in a manner that is among the clearest that I have ever seen. So, whether you are a student, or a salty dog electrical engineer who does not want his theoretical knowledge base to atrophy, the skills taught here at Nesco will go a long way in helping you achieve a happy and satisfying career. Trust me, you WILL use this stuff. Well done, keep it up.
Hello sir! You mentioned that you are a recruiter. It will be a rare occasion for me if I get the answer from the perspective of a man who recruits candidates for jobs. I'd be obliged if you tell me where are these skills actually used in the job field? My guess is microcontroller or microprocessor manufacturing. Thank you.
This channel literally saved my career. My electronics exam was scheduled shortly, so I couldn't prepare on a short notice. And thanks to keep the lectures in English, making it accessible to everyone
I'm not sure where you got your education but you're quite literally saving my ass here. Somehow you explained this concept better in 12 and a half minutes than my professor with a PhD could in 4 hours.
Why can't we get degree from people like you. Why the universities are wasting so much money in those teachers or the so called professor who waste hours after hours and still we don't get what he is trying to deliver us. We need more people like you in our nation.
You've literally explained it thousand times better than my course professor. Tomorrow is my exam and I had to stop here to save my CG. Best wishes for you!✨
Mate, ive spend the last week trying to understand this, different videos, my text book etc, but this video did it, its gonna take a bit of practise but this video helped so much, thankyou
these values are not taken randomly. canonical form qn is given like 2,4,5,6,7 so these are high for F and rest values are low. not random based on qn we get .
one small correction at 7:22 while writing F(A,B,C) as a sum of minterms you changed the case of later terms such as M5 ,M6,M7 which is incorrect since we use uppercase for writing maxterms and here we're dealing with minterms
As i know, the Standard form is the simplified form of the canonical form. However, the Canonical form is the form that contains all the max/min terms. This is different from what has been mentioned in the vid!!
he has taken arbitrary values of F. You can take any value depending on the expression. Since expression has not been given, arbitrary values have been taken.
At 2:49 Sir, you talked about the swap form(0 to 1 with complements of A ) but ı dont exactly understand why we're doing this swap? and thanks for the videos these are the best.
how the f values are taken i dont understand random means what. if you take m3 is high its OR gate or AND gate if you take m3 it is low but its input is there which means you are taken the OR gate then the m3 term will be f=1 but you are taken f=0 please explain me sir how ur taken truth table values

For anyone who doesn't understand how he got the Fs they were just random
thank you
it was just random values taken...
Thanks
Thanks
Thankyou
i am refering to this after 9 yrs of this video being posted here and the teaching is still very much useful and easy to understand and helpful.
same here
This the 2021 and still the best course on youtube love you Neso academy
Yes really nice videos.....
all of your lectures are valuable assets. you're educating a great no. of ppl as well as me. thank you so much, I'm watchin the whole series
Neso Academy ..yes its random but in qsn we have to write value of function so plz tell us what is the method for it
I just saw one video and I'm truly impressed and I'm gonna follow your channel... Thank you so much sir for your effort 💫❤

Thank you for the clear explanation of SOP & POS. I've been struggling a lot in class and came across your video really flows in my brain smoothly!
2:36 why didnt the second value also get high? Its also having a true value so why isnt the output also true?
For getting the values, he used F=A+BC ̅ (the bar should be exactly above C but you get the idea)
Why he used this formula to get these outputs?
why he use these formula??

Yes bro really good video, in my channel I had posted more tutorials on this topic...
Sir I'm enjoying perfection of difficult concepts by watching your lectures
This is the best youtube channel for Digital Electronics ❤❤❤
Love your way of teaching, Sir 😊😊😊
For those wondering how he took the F. He took the high results and made a product of inputs
these values are not taken randomly. canonical form qn is given like 2,4,5,6,7 so these are high for F and rest values are low. not random based on qn we get .
you guys are the best for taking an effort for making proper videos like this
Computer Science students looking at this video cause of an exam be like 🤯
Your lectures are fabulous
One thing I want to ask in this presentation how you have decided the output i.e., F (0,0,1,0,1,1,1,1)
That is randomly selected....
that was my question also
One of the best channel. Really very helpful during exams.
thanku soo much sir..i don't know any thing..i am learning from watching u r videos thanku soo much sir
Hello, my question is in getting the outputs, or the numbers for F, did you use AND or OR?
there could be any gate, and in exams most of the time you are given output (if not then the name of gate will be mentioned to use...)
This is 6year old but still there is no video which can beat this#high domination
SIR I HAVE COMPLETED LECTURE 12 OUT OF 202. TREMENDOUS LECTURE AND THANKYOU FOR YOUR GUIDANCE !!!
Brilliant presentation, thank you!
You teach this better than my professor who can “write his own textbook over this stuff”
Yeah really nice video....
You are now my teacher ❤️
Wow! This is very informative, thanks for sharing it with us. It worth it...dl
this video save my life, thank you so much~
Hello sir I didn't understand how you took that truth table... Which logical operation is performed in that truth table to obtain F
I love Neso Academy ❤️
Such a nice hand writing and so much valuable video. Who are you sir ? Are you Professor ?
How are F's value determined????
thank you so much. you have literally saved me many times. ❤
one small correction at 7:22 while writing F(A,B,C) as a sum of minterms you changed the case of later terms such as M5 ,M6,M7 which is incorrect since we use uppercase for writing maxterms and here we're dealing with minterms
Exactly minterms must be in lower case and Maxterms must be uppercase....
This comment should be pinned
How you are getting F value.. On which basis you are writing 0 and 1
You can write as you want there is no carteria 😢
He has taken random values just to explain the concept. He has not performed any boolean operation for finding the value of F.

Sir How you determine the value of f without any Boolean function
thank you for the lecture.
Can u explain how did u got F values🤔
Thank You Neso!
How did you get the truth table for three variables?
well it depends according to the questions it may be two variables or three or more varialbes
Nice work 👍
Sir how we took F values in table
same question..sir can you please tell how we took F values in this table
This man is the goat
How do u write on the screen..? Do u use some digital pen
very good but i didnt undrstand how u got the F values
sir can you please explain the truth table?? how was the F obtained.?
aditi ghosh he told that he took them randomly.u can take u own values.
he has taken arbitrary values of F. You can take any value depending on the expression. Since expression has not been given, arbitrary values have been taken.
F is part of the question. He did not 'get' the F values, they were arbitrarily given.

Nice video. I would like to find out why the quiz can't be loaded after this lesson. Thank you
Actually which operation have u done for getting output of f in truth table
Random not actual output
@Neso Academy
sir can u please give practise questions for all these concepts..
If I have to draw truth table then how can i know the value of f
Thank you sir
sir, i have one question the f values you considered was based on some expression or it was just random ?
Random.
How the outputs(F) has been written in the truth table bro?
awesome lecture but I didn't understand how got the "F" values?
can you please explain for me, sir
F is Sum of minterms, inmy channel I had explained this in detail....
F values were random
At 2:49 Sir, you talked about the swap form(0 to 1 with complements of A ) but ı dont exactly understand why we're doing this swap? and thanks for the videos these are the best.
Did you find this out mate?
sir please make series of machine learning also sir
Your intro gave me so much nostalgia from an old zombie game. yoooo
Exactly....
please how did you get the values of the truth table
How does F column get those values in truth table?
That's because of truth table
Thanks Sir 😀😀
In the table how did we calculated f or f will be already givrn
You're Great Sir 😌❤️😍
How Truth Table is written?? Simply It has to be memorised or It has any logic behind it ??
how the f values are taken i dont understand random means what. if you take m3 is high its OR gate or AND gate if you take m3 it is low but its input is there which means you are taken the OR gate then the m3 term will be f=1 but you are taken f=0 please explain me sir how ur taken truth table values
Well taught sir , any book for practicing digital design problem with solution
Explain why the minimised sum of products form doesn’t necessarily yield the minimum
number of gates necessary to implement a given Boolean function.
Hello sir. Can you inform me which writing pad you are using for your presentations.
Sir can u explain how u have written the truth table first?
i think one more term will be minterm, the second one 0+0+1 = will be equal to 1 but you have mentioned 1.
Sir, how you have written the value of F??
Same doubt
That is randomly selected values....
