Congrats on your new position. You know you are gonna do well because just who you are. It is ok to feel a little nervous. But once you know your assignment and get into the Grove caring for folks you will be an old foggey in no time. Btw thank you for reminding me to pay my taxes. I literally put it on my to do list. Hi I am an NP too...that sounds interesting. What type of position will you be working with the insurance company. Didn't know we had that option....
@@wendaoued8874 Hello, I do that as well. Usually it involves annual wellness assessments or management of chronically ill members in their homes. I work for Optum, which is affiliated with United Healthcare. There is also Housecalls, another program with United Healthcare.
I don’t know if NP is Worth spending all my life time for because i have tried youtube l associates and some others and still failed 4 attempt. I feel so frustrated don't know what to do anymore don’t even have time for my own kids any more 💔💔💔😔😔.
The NP test is very difficult and frustrating to pass, I can't believe i failed after studying with so many materials😞
Sometimes it doesn't matter how hard you study you also need to pray to God for success

I have a cousin who never studied much, we studied together but she gives most of her time to her phone than her studies after writing the RPN test last month she passed and i failed😢, i asked her how she did it, just found out she got help from Mrs Amelia

You are transparent whether its your life out of the healthcare setting, going shopping, making coffee, your brief go at travel nursing … whatever …Really wishing you all the best in this new specialty….Just a word of encouragement, unlike primary care ,urgent care is fast pace don’t feel bad if you cant fix everything…Don’t feel afraid to say “f/u with your PCP😂

I am New grad Np just certified AGNP I been working in Dialysis As Rn for 15 years so now I do not where I should start very nervous please give me advice Thanks
Honestly when I graduated I actually took the a job that I knew I would not want to do in the long run, just to get my experience as a NP. I saw apply to as much as you can and play it by ear, do your pro and con depending on the offers you receive. Most NP I know do this until they find their way and stay in the position that is right for now. Best of luck to you.

Do not need a DNP to practice as a NP in most areas
