What was left unmentioned is that the the big freeze of the last cycle IS the big bang of the next cycle, just at a "larger scale" (I put that in quotes because this change in scale wouldn't be noticeable in the next cycle). Also, the next universe wouldn't repeat the same events, it would be a different universe, given that large gravitational waves in a cycle can remain and influence the next cycle.
Cyclical Cosmology was first introduced in vedas and upanishads , especialky its central teaching of Advaita vedanta ( Nonnduality ) , which dates back 3500 years .
That's not far from a fair comparison to draw. The insights provided by Penrose via his ccc theory make it unjust to draw parallels to some guys with an utterly non-technical, non-rigorous understanding of how anything works. Anyone can have an idea about anything. Just because there seems to be a vague similarly in an overarching consequence of Penrose brilliant theory and a broad notion someone had thousands of years ago, does not mean that they really have something in common. To say that the idea was first introduced by these guys as though it's so profound it takes from Penrose theory is laughable. Penrose is one of the greatest mathematicians and theoretical physicists of our time. There is no parallel here. This is Penrose' theory. Perhaps the naive and non-technical description of the theory provided by the video is the issue here. It's not an overall terrible description to those who aren't in a position to understand the theory, but it does make misconceptions like yours more likely.
Someone explain to me how out of a state where everything freezes, because it is all so far apart that even time becomes meaningless there can suddenly be a rapid "explision/expansion" creating matter again
@@cosmic_awe great I wanted to know cause that means this theory doest go against the concept of an intelligent Creator. Atheists need to search for another theory to satisfy their emotions now. Little do they know that running away from the truth is like being fat and trying to beat Usain Bolt in his prime.
dropped some and realized the same at first, then realized the cyclical part is also an illusion because of time and space being relative. - I'm going with the Buddha on this - all is emptiness

Beautifully put, thanks for the addition!
Nice explanation of CCC in a shorts! Thanks!
Yeah more science I am so happy

Glad to see this referenced here! Vedanta is truly beautiful.

Missed the conformal part
SIR Roger Penrose. Show some respect
Roger's a friend and we are on informal terms :)

Does that mean universe become nothing in a period of time than comes back again by another big bang
This is what the theory seems to imply!
