Absolutely love this game. I'm so glad you played it. If you're looking for another happy game you should check out Dropsy. It's about a clown who's trying to make other people happy. It's around 4-5 hours. Another good one is called Maize. It's about sentient corn with an adorable talking bear. It runs about 3-1/2 hours. I'd love to see you do a longer video and/or series.
I remember seeing playthroughs of this game like 3 years ago. Got a little traumatised to say the least but I’m happy to see Lauren play it lmao

There’s a free horror game (it was classified as horror) on steam called roots where you play as this little parsnip (might be a carrot idk) going through some stuff and this white coloured version of you talks you through the problems of this one guy its kinda weird but i would love to see Lauren play through it

I searched up the meaning of this game and apparently it’s a metaphor for having to cope with adulthood. Inevitably, you will lose your childhood innocence- especially due to the loss of those close to you.

Lauren! big fan of you since when I was young! if you accept game requests, I reccomend this game called my child Lebensborn. it may seem cozy, but the story is quite disturbing...basically a parent simulator about a child being bullied due to his heritage, it's quite sad and traumatizing...if you can, can you give it a go the next time you post a game video?

So, maybe this is a stretch, but I was kinda thinking that this symbolized depression in some ways? Particularly ‘Smiling Depression’ the kind where you hide the pain with a smile? And like the pure horror of the game that’s just barely masked by a smile? And then the fall into pure pain and sorrow at the end that the smile can no longer hide? don’t know, that was just my take on it.

Here’s my theory: this game is about a child in a abusive household experiencing night terrors. See how the horrible things only happen when he goes to sleep? The “monsters” represent the people around him making him miserable, the bully, and his parents. The toys represent happiness, but at every turn the “monsters” take it from him.
