Have you ever been judged for your tattoos? Jeannie opens up about why she covers her tattoo, in this Girl chat. Watch, and tell us below if you can relate.
Tamera: "when I was on sister, sister".. or "I don't know if you guys remember but.. Tia and I did a show back in the day called sister, sister" Adrienne: "when I was apart of the cheetah girls/3LW"... "Israel is my soulmate" "Loni: "As a comedian"... "Just as long as y'all got drinks".. "Auntie Loni" Jennie: "My mom always says"... "Freddy and I"... "I just feel like, being a person into fashion/fashion expert"...
Shaa Shaa I don't know why you feel that way. Your concern shouldn't be about the race of these women, however it should be about what they individually represent. Monica brings something different than what Loni and Tamera bring. She's confident, outspoken, has a little edge, yet still a great mother and wife. I think women of all races can relate to her and that's the beauty of this show. Even though all the cohost on the panel are "ethnic women", they are able to resonant with people of different races, beliefs, and cultures. That's the whole point of the show. Unfortunately there are some closed minded people out there who are worried about certain races overpopulating the table...as if it is some kind of threat or something 😑
Jeanie: "Since I'm from the bay..." Adrienne: "Well since I'm getting married..." Loni: "You know because I'm a comic..." Tamera: "Because I'm a mom..." like lmao we get it!! 😂 haha I think it's so funny how these girls always tend to include that before they present an argument
Either of them would work for me. I like how she's able to ease her way into the convo. I didn't feel like Eve was like that all of the time. Monica just seems comfortable.
Amisse Baras y'all said the same thing about Eve, who's it going to be?? I think we have to see who else is in store, they haven't had a REAL crazy person yet!.😂 keke Palmer cough... cough...
Actually it's annoying. She acts like she's from the ghetto. She's from Milpitas, CA. A middle class suburb of San Jose. One of the most expensive cities in the country and smack dab in silicon valley. She needs to have a seat.
Haleigh Eddins except that there's over 50 variations & versions of these words. & boy when u factor in the extensive cultures/religions🗄🗃 (some practice tattooing) and also believe their word is the word of God guess no one is "truly" right about tattoos.. esp. Not anyone practicing judgement ✌🏼️✌🏼
ajmitch28 you're right. Thats why when you really study the old testament you really have to refer back to the original text because some of the words they use don't always have English words that mean the same thing. For example, shes right they were talking about the practice of tattooing being a form of worship to an idol god. But if that idol accepted it then, than they'd accept it today. So I get what you're saying but she's not talking about other religions or cultures. Shes talking the Bible.
I don't think majority of people are judging Jeannie for her neck tattoo. In fact, I think a lot of us would say it looks cute. However, if it was a man who had a tattoo like that, he'd get more criticism.
If that guy comes walking up to me, I'm not rolling down my window. And I don't care if it makes me look prejudice. Where I come from, that's a dangerous guy.
Sevipants19 I'm sorry if it offends anyone, but I agree with you. Simply because is on his face. I love tattoos and I don't have any, but I think they are beautiful most times. If your face is tattooed and it's not your brows, girl I'm judging.
I honestly don't want tattoos ! For one I don't like pain , two it would feel weird looking at ink on my body ! But I'm not gonna judge anybody else from having tattoos on their arms , legs , and also we as people need to be cautious of our assumptions that people are bad because of what they look like , what they wear , and how they talk or walk !
I understood what Jeannie was saying but girl that little ass tattoo on the back of your neck is not the same thing as that man with gang tattoos all over his damn face
As a Christian, I can appreciate the art aspect of tattoos but I don't think that they belong on the body. I do believe that the scripture in Leviticus 19:23 clearly speaks against tattoos, but if I have the wrong interpretation I pray that the Lord would reveal it to me.
Both of my arms are covered, and i have a tattoo on my right hand and hands are one of the most "painful" places to get a tattoo, and i can in confidence say that it's really not that bad lol.Take a motrin 30 minutes before hand, and you'll be fine :).
I got my first tattoo on my wrist on 17th birthday and got two more after I turned 18, one covering my entire forearm and another on my chest. I'm 19 now and don't regret any one of them because they all mean something to me.
I love how American tv can talk about Jesus so free, here in the UK everything is about being politically right, I rarely hear about Jesus unless it's songs of praise even that they rarely mentioned Him
Kea Yang . That is so true. you hardly hear God much less Jesus as The UK is so obsessed with not coming off as intolerant and stuff like that. I get that but not allowing people to talk about thier religion is also intolerant. Either way they are not making a good decision.
The U.S has a lot of Muslims and Jews atheist and everything in between too..... also the U.S is a lot bigger than the U.K so just cuz u live in a small town somewhere where everyone around u is Christian doesn’t mean the whole nation here is.
I don't understand Christians with religious tattoos. Like if you really followed the Bible, it forbids tattoos but hey what do i know. That's why i just live life on my own terms. Lol
solstice. clearly you dont know much about christianity if you're saying that, after jesus was crucified there was no need for stoning, burnt sacrifies anymore since he was the ultimate sacrifice.
Jesus said, and I'm paraphrasing, that we shouldn't cast stones on others when we are also guilty of sin. That was the law of the Pharisees, not Jesus or Christianity. I know you said you were joking, but it came off condescendingly.
I completely understand what Jeanie is saying. It's unfortunate that we have to do that but its reality and sadly when making decisions regarding tattoos you have to think about how you'll be seen either in a work setting or in general. It shouldn't be that way but it is
Najah KK u are such an idiot 🤦🏽♀️ that’s jesús not god no one knows what god looks like but Jesus was a real person even if u don’t believe in god jesús was an actual human that wanted to start a religion
+Dainty China I don't believe in "white Jesus" either. Whenever I pray I know who I'm praying too so I don't really worry about that. I sensed sarcasm in ur statement but thought I'd be cheeky saying it will still have white features noticed "white Jesus" in quotations
I respect you 5 women so much! I personally don't see myself getting tattoos, but this is so great. and you are so right Jeanie what you have to say is way too important for people to be judging you because of a tattoo.
I really want a tattoo and have for a long time but I'm hesitant about getting inked permanently and also due to any possible long term effects and toxicity.
Don't do it! I have no tattoos and I'm glad that I can wear anything I want to without the messy background of tattoos on my skin. I have friends that are covered with them and it is a struggle at the mall for them to find a nice shirt that goes well. They're just so damn permanent even the semi permanent ones. You have to go to someone who knows what they're doing. I've seen semis turn washed out permanent.
Amen Monica! Every tattoo I have has a story. Being from Atlanta as well I got judged a lot coming back to my Alabama roots. Times have changed and the judgement is not as harsh. I got my first tattoo with my mom. She was 61 and badass, lol. The tattoo artist thought she was so amazing and I do too. My first tattoo was to celebrate her being breast cancer free for 10 years. She is now 20 years cancer free and still going strong! Love this! #fullofJesuswithATLinmyheart
I love everyone on the show but not all their viewers are Christian. You guys have Jewish, Muslim, Atheist, Buddhist and Hindu viewers too. It's kind of hard to relate when they make Jesus comments all the time.
But they're talking about their experiences and if they're Christian then of course they will talk about Jesus because that is what they know. I'm not a Christian but I have no problem with them talking about Jesus.
I totally get that and I love how real they are but at the end of the day sometimes they bring religion into everything and it can get uncomfortable for some viewers... just stating my opinion.
I'm full of tattoos & it's insane how much people judge me before they even get to know me. It's upsetting, but honestly I'm proud of my tattoos, I love them. 💕
As Christians, we must consider this - where in the bible is the scripture or principle encouraging us to get tattoos? Did Christ or the disciples get them? Many religious ceremonies incorporate tattooing in relation to the gods worshiped..idolatry. The first commandment says "Have no other gods before me". So how do we justify turning tattoos into a thing that pleases God? Our bodies are "temples of the Holy Ghost" and all that we do should bring Him glory not done because it pleases our heart (which the bible describes as "deceitful above all things and desperately wicked". And God said Himself that He cannot change. Malachi 3:6
this is beautiful. i actually dont have the guts to get any tats. i give mad props to anyone who can make a decision to get anything inked, i just could never decide on any image to stare at forever!
Let me say this, as someone who grew up in church her entire upbringing. I wish people would stop using and quoting the bible to benefit their convenience and use it to judge other people's lives. In the bible it says we are all born in sin and shaped in iniquity. Getting tattoos are a sin. Ok, so are 50 million other things, nobody walking this earth is exempt of sin, including the Christians, they were once sinners too and fall short. We all sin everyday and probably don't realize that we are. In the bible it also says no one sin is greater than another in God's eyes. So the people who feel they are somehow better off with God because they assume their lives aren't as lowly as the next. Wrong, your human imperfections are just as filthy to him as the tattoos, the prostitute, drug addict, drug dealer, liar, cheater and so on. I wish someone would tell me I can't talk about the Lord because I have or did XYZ. It was his grace and mercy that saved many of us, even when we didn't and don't deserve it. Jesus walked and hung with the lowest of the low. He uses them as his greatest vessels to spread his word and testimony. That's what Jesus died on the cross for, that's what he gave his only begotten son for. To forgive us.
I have 3 tattoos that I'm very proud of. I got my first when I was 15 and I had my parents approval. They are all on my feet so you only see them during the summer. My tattoos tell a story of what I went through in high school and what I have went through since I graduated high school. I love them. I want more and I don't think there is anything wrong with them. I do think that people need to get to know someone before they judge them based on the ink they have.
I really hope Monica would be a permanent host because she have so many great insights that really made me feel inspired and motivated. I think she will be a really great REAL host and I can see she gets along well with the others. I really like her personality :)
I like the dynamics of This panel. Each of the ladies were able to express themselves on a personal subject. Tattoos are an each to there own matter. .. (want one have none, playing around with henna for now).
Tamera: I got two kids!
Jeannie: I'm from The Bay!
Adrienne: Now that I'm in my 30s...
Lonnie: Back when I was an engineer...
alaweeezy lmaoooo
or Tamera: "As a mother..."
Or Adrienne: " Now that I'm married..." ( coming soon )
Tamera: "when I was on sister, sister".. or "I don't know if you guys remember but.. Tia and I did a show back in the day called sister, sister"
Adrienne: "when I was apart of the cheetah girls/3LW"... "Israel is my soulmate"
"Loni: "As a comedian"... "Just as long as y'all got drinks".. "Auntie Loni"

Also Adrienne " I'm from New York" " When I was a Cheetah girl "
I almost got tatted at 18. As soon as the needle touched my arm I made him stop. So i been walking around with a dot of ink on my arm for years 😂😂😂😂
KoolKid8987 LOL
KoolKid8987 what tattoo were you going to get?
Every tattoo has a story 😂😂
Koala b

Listening to Monica speak is so relaxing for some reason
Oh my God yes. Her voice is so soothing.
I would've thought Tia and Tamera would have gotten a tattoo of the moon and sun...
kd254 twitches
I got that reference!!
Twitch
or Ying and Yang...
kd254 I understood that reference
As a true fan of this show, Monica should be a permanent host. Don't look no further☺
Empressive We don't need another black host on the table.

+Shaa Shaa racist bitch
Empressive I'd love for her to be a permanent host; however, she's very pious and that does not go well with daytime TV.
Jeannie and Tamera are as well..
I can listen to Monica talk all day.
Monica adds such a level of class (not that they aren't all classy). She speaks with strength from the things she has gone through and its beautiful.
The Real UA-cam has been stepping up their game with these longer videos!!
yeah!! :D
Bee yasss gotta give it up. complained for soo long.,🙌🙌🙌

Jeanie: "Since I'm from the bay..."
Adrienne: "Well since I'm getting married..."

I LOVE MONICA ON THE REAL!! she needs to stay!!
Yeah, she seemed comfortable and she was articulate and got in the conversation.
Either of them would work for me. I like how she's able to ease her way into the convo. I didn't feel like Eve was like that all of the time. Monica just seems comfortable.
+You Tried It! I prefer eve too!
Amisse Baras NO
Amisse Baras y'all said the same thing about Eve, who's it going to be?? I think we have to see who else is in store, they haven't had a REAL crazy person yet!.😂 keke Palmer cough... cough...
Give it up one time for Monica's hair though.
Girl her hair and that m/u is serving up a five course meal. I was listening but concentrated on the m/u. fr though love it
Jeannie looks super interested in Monica's story.
Summer Lyric she is because of the fact that she has many tattoos just like Monica
Tamera's hair is the bomb. It is sooo gorgeous.
I swear Monica is everything. Such grace and beauty. Please Lord let her be on this show permanently.
I do not have a single tattoo doubt I'll ever get one.
Mbaliville same

Jay Marie Yes!!!! Bay Area stand up!!! ❤ da Bay
Jay Marie I was just about to say that. I'm from the Bay too and I don't claim it as much as she does. We know you from the Bay Jeanie...lol
Jay Marie Adrienne does that same thing tho lol
Actually it's annoying. She acts like she's from the ghetto. She's from Milpitas, CA. A middle class suburb of San Jose. One of the most expensive cities in the country and smack dab in silicon valley. She needs to have a seat.
osimeon00 oh I thought she was from Berkeley, CA, still not a bad area
Monica is so wise I love her. It's like when she speaks everyone just stops and listens🙌🏾
Monica is a grown woman. . .KEEP her!!!
I got mines at 18 & my mama lost it. I thought I was gonna attend my funeral that day.

Real talk Monica needs to stay on this show! She brings so much to the table, love this sista
If that guy comes walking up to me, I'm not rolling down my window. And I don't care if it makes me look prejudice. Where I come from, that's a dangerous guy.
Sevipants19 same
Sevipants19 you shouldn't roll down your window for any strange man tbh
Sevipants19
I'm sorry if it offends anyone, but I agree with you. Simply because is on his face. I love tattoos and I don't have any, but I think they are beautiful most times. If your face is tattooed and it's not your brows, girl I'm judging.
Sevipants19 ok that sounds kinda racist instead of saying well I wouldn't do that to MYSELF it's not a good look.
If ANYONE walks up to my car I'm not rolling down the window. Street smarts 101 from a NYC gal
Tamera is so beautiful!!!!! Loving her curly hair! Monica being on the show was so cool!
Loni been dropping knowledge lately
Danielle Danielle lol ikr
Danielle Danielle lmfaoooo. she said "where?" I can't. lololol
Phania Severe she been speaking out more instead of just joking, and being so closed

purpleflrp 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Mollysha Johnson um Jeannie is tatted like Monica hun she has bigger ones on her that's just the one she chose to show you
Mollysha Johnson gurrrrl 😩 don't do her like that haha
I love tattoos and would never care enough what people think to cover them.
Life after life imprisonment
I just love monica. One of my faves!
Monica is absolutely beautiful.
I love Jeanie so much. She’s so full of life and joy. I could listen to her talking allll day
Times change...but God doesn't..
Monica fit in so well. i like her as a host. i like Eve too
Damn monica looked like 34 in that picture where she was 14. Her and beyonce always looked much older than their age.
The love I have for Monica though!!! She is so real
Monica is much more interesting...Ashanti was pretty quiet but i loved looking at her.
Yea i liked Ashanti on The Real as well but she was very quiet and did not disclose as much. She seems to be too private for this type of forum.
yeah she's a little shy/quiet but I enjoyed watching her to, she's so cute with her voice
but I enjoyed Eve the most
Ya'll want every co-host to stay *rolls eyes*
As a Christian, I can appreciate the art aspect of tattoos but I don't think that they belong on the body. I do believe that the scripture in Leviticus 19:23 clearly speaks against tattoos, but if I have the wrong interpretation I pray that the Lord would reveal it to me.
Absolutely, same here.
i really think The Real really needs to keep Monica!
I love how Monica speaks so fluently. Keep her on the show!
I'm with Tahj, did you really need a tattoo to remind you that you are a twin lol.
I love tattoos I'm just too much of a punk ass to actually get one 😂
Depending on where you get them, they might not hurt. Mine's on my wrist and it just felt like sunburn or a scratch.
Both of my arms are covered, and i have a tattoo on my right hand and hands are one of the most "painful" places to get a tattoo, and i can in confidence say that it's really not that bad lol.Take a motrin 30 minutes before hand, and you'll be fine :).
Samee
sheisreina haha me too in a way.
I have a half sleeve. It was my first tattoo. It's not searing pain. It felt like a steel brush rubbing on my arm.
I got my first tattoo on my wrist on 17th birthday and got two more after I turned 18, one covering my entire forearm and another on my chest. I'm 19 now and don't regret any one of them because they all mean something to me.
I love Monica so much! She's would be a perfect fit for a 5th host if they were to ever hire someone.
I don't have any tats and I am perfectly fine with that.
MONICA❤️❤️❤️ She's so amazing!!!
Can I just pause and ask who did Monica's make up? She looks so good wow!
Jeannie is my favorite, she speaks truth and life every time she opens her mouth.
Monica is perfect for this show!

Kea Yang that's because although the U.K. Is a Christian country most people are not religious or part of a religious group
The U.S has a lot of Muslims and Jews atheist and everything in between too..... also the U.S is a lot bigger than the U.K so just cuz u live in a small town somewhere where everyone around u is Christian doesn’t mean the whole nation here is.
Monica has such a calming voice 💕😌
You can't look at a person and not judge them.
Harleen G. Right. tats or not I think its natural to do.
@@summerlyric6071 I hate when people keep insisting don't judge
That's who we are
And it's not always a bad thing
But you're gonna judge
I could
I'm 34 with no ink. I always felt like I wouldn't appreciate it later in life because we evolve.
If you don't know about Tia and Tamera's tattoo by now, you haven't been alive. I swear I've heard this a million times.
I'm pretty familiar with them, but this is my first time hearing about their tattoos.
I have 2 tattoos from when I was 13 and 16 and I soooooo regret it. I want this foolishness off me
love Monica....She fits so well with the girls
Monica is the next host!! She keeps it real"I'm filled" 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Monica is a perfect fit for the show!! She make valid points and connect with the audience. I love her!
I really love Jeannie and how she expresses herself!!!
i hope they keep Monica
Idk I could never put a white Jesus on my black body.
Janine Smith hahah😂😂😂

Think about if you're doing it for attention seeking reasons, a lot of people get tattoos to seek validation and attention from others
Times change Loni, but the word of God stays the same.
Paola Lucero Tellerias Amen!
It should change tho. Or be burnt.
so you never wear clothing of mixed fibers or eat shellfish?
I use to eat shellfish not anymore due to that scripture. The fiber one I need to research. I don't mind adjusting my lifestyle lol no issue

Tiffany Rayne avoid what you can. No one is forcing another person to get a tattoo. How does getting a tattoo enhance someone life?
Tiffany Rayne Amen !!!
I love how Monica said I'm covered like your average gangbanger!!!
I love when Lonnie gets really serious. Not emotional but like really serious and she researched the topic that they discuss
I do think that people need to get to know someone before they judge them based on the ink they have.
this Monica is on point!!!!! she needs a permanent chair!!!!
I judge face tattoos. Like why?
I really hope Monica would be a permanent host because she have so many great insights that really made me feel inspired and motivated. I think she will be a really great REAL host and I can see she gets along well with the others. I really like her personality :)
I love tattoos , I don’t have any myself (maybe someday) but I listening to people that do have any and their stories behind it.
I love Jeannie. Period, done!
Can Monica stay on the show please? Like permanently.
I like the dynamics of This panel. Each of the ladies were able to express themselves on a personal subject. Tattoos are an each to there own matter. .. (want one have none, playing around with henna for now).
Tamera is sooooo beautiful! I love her hair like that, was my first crush growing up and will always be!
