I opted for expensive high wicking hiking clothes. I wash them in the shower when I wash myself. They will dry in the shower overnight. Only use laundromat for bed sheets
If you are travelling it is easier to wash as you go. Buy quick dry clothes, there lots available from sports shops, especially undies, socks and shirts. Every morning before you set off, wash the few bits you have been wearing yesterday and wring them out thoroughly. Each side of the van put up a hook and hang a simple washing line a bit of string with a eye at either end, then peg out the washing, on a hot day with the windows open, that great airflow, everything will be dry in 30 minutes. When you are parked up do the same setting up a simple line outside, the washing takes only 5 minutes, quicker and cheaper than the laundry. The upside, aside from hassle and cost saving is that you don't need so many clothes and don't have dirty washing festering.
This brings back memories of when we lived aboard our narrow boat. Almost everyone wanted to know how we washed our clothes. I used to say well himself takes us up to the nearest rocks, I jump out and bash the clothes against the rocks, job done. If we fail to find any rocks I just pop the clothes in the washer 😊. Always brought a chuckle. Pleased to hear we now have the similar system as they have in Spain.
We have just had a brand new designed Revolution washing Machines and Dryer with the new 20kg Drums installed at our BP Service Station in Rushden ,John Clark Way NN10 0FX , plenty of parking with Two new jet washes , if your down this way please drop in and have a Greggs while doing your washing :)
Everytime I got to the gym I wash my clothes while I'm in the shower. I wish could Dry all my Laundry faster...for free= no laudrymate. It takes forever to dry and I don't have much space in my car to hang much. Last night I was thinking of securing hangers inside of a giant Mesh bag flat onto the roof of my car, and then while In driving in the city, the sun & wind would dry them within an hour.
Hey I stumbled across you guys yesterday. May I ask I have some items that I cant tumble dry as im in the process of upheaving my camper and redoing the inside how do you dry clothes without the mould and damp in winter
Very cool to see these kinds of machines! I would imagine there are times when the machines are in use...do you end up just sitting around for a couple of hours hoping the person comes back to get their laundry!?

Good stuff, Kat. Here in the US I can say I've never seen laundry inside of a supermarket!
Ha- new money making opportunity for you. :) I'd buy stocks- these things are so busy all the time.

Thanks for sharing. How secure are they? i.e. can someone open it before it finishes and steal your clothes while you’re shopping?
Wow that looks easy, you didn’t have to change the laundry from the wash drum to the dryer?
Can you get small portable machines just for motorhomes?!
You must have read my mind. Guess what is coming out on our channel soon?
They also have an app!
Expensive but good results
most people use those launderettes to wash their dogs and horses clothing...
