Everything Everywhere All at Once is officially A24's highest grossing film, which is INCREDIBLE feat because it relied on word of mouth from a small handful of screenings in the US (38 theaters) for it to even be considered for mass release. Fantastic film, imo. My brain and heart hurt afterwards in the best way.
You guys NEED to see Everything Everywhere. It’s not just charming it’s hilarious and will make Jay ugly cry. Best movie of the year so far. Edit 35:38 they land the plane on this one.
I'm so happy for Michelle Yeoh for getting what looks like a grand showcase with Everything Everywhere All At Once. Actually looking forward to all of these (except the Statham one).
I'm glad I'm not the only one who came back here hoping for a reaction. This could be my favorite movie of all time. Words can't define how well executed it is.
When are you guys going to react to Everything Everywhere All at Once? The movie is absolutely bonkers, touchingly heartwarming and would be right up Jay's alley.
I seriously hope Jack Black has, at least, a cameo in the Foo zombies movie, as Dave was Satan in Tenacious D and the Pic of Destiny. Hello, crossover?? Yes, please!
Dave Grohl: "Around the time that I recorded the first FF tape (that became the first record), I was reading a lot of books on UFO's. Not only is it a fascinating subject, but there's a treasure trove of band names in those UFO books! So, since I had recorded the first record by myself, playing all the instruments, but I wanted people to think that it was a group, I figured that FOO FIGHTERS (WW2 term for UFO's) might lead people to believe that it was more than just one guy. Silly, huh?"
I was one of the people in the discord 10-15 minutes after the trailers for Everything Everywhere All At Once dropped begging for you guys to watch that trailer. I truly think that’s going to be the best movie of 2022. Looks INCREDIBLE
I really enjoyed the meta of Nicholas Cage staring in a movie as himself, getting advise about revitalising his career from someone who revitalised his career by staring in a movie as himself.
If you've not, you should see Guy Ritchie's The Man From U.N.C.L.E.. It's a lot of fun and Henry Cavill and Armie Hammer are an awesomely fun pair in it, and a darn fun spy espionage film. You'll also see Hugh Grant there, and this movie looks a tad of the feel of that one, though I agree the trailer for this wasn't good aside from some nice editing with the music. (Josh Harnett was also in Ritchie's recent movie Wrath of Man.)
Uncharted does look like the blandest action-adventure movie ever, because its based off a game series based on the bland action-adventure movie genre. Fun to play but, yeah, been done.
One of my favorite Dave Grohl moments is when he broke his foot at a festival but continued to play sitting down while a doctor held his leg in place, and then a while after his foot healed he did an interview and they surprised him by bringing out the doctor that helped him. He jumped up like a little kid and got so excited, it’s precious ✨
That Lost City trailer gave me all the feels. I used to watch Romancing the Stone with my Grandpa when I visited over the summer. (What can I say, the guy was retired Air Force and also a giant softee.) He passed a few years ago and I miss him all the time. I feel like this movie is the spiritual successor to RtS, and definitely plan to watch it in his honor. Love you, Papa.
The Dave Grohl movie gave me a "Tenacious D" kind of vibe (a little bit) :B. Aubrey Plaza in "Happiest Season" is the most "normal" that I have ever seen her and it was sooooo weird jajaja but I loved her character (way more than the two protagonists). Brad Pitt in a comedy is what I didn't know I needed it!!!! Along with Ari Aster, Robert Eggers is in my top3 of fav new directors. "The Witch" and "The Lighthouse" are so beautiful and interesting... in a weird way. Aaaalways with an amazing cinematography. I'm very intrigue by "Everything Everywhere All at Once" (loooove Michelle Yeoh). But yeah, it's a little bit scary, like... it seems a little too much (that's why I'm not going to watch "Lamb", also A24 related... maybe watch some reactors do it jajaja), but even when not all the movies are my cup of tea I'm still super thankful that A24 take risks, offers something different. Awww, Nicolas Cage and Pedrito, mi chileno favorito

How about a multiverse film about Nicholas Cage having to team up with all of his previous characters from the past few decades? Every cage all the time.
This is a crazy, wild idea that needs to be made. Edit: I can see this as a book or comic then movie where all actors characters come to life and eventually fight a crazy war.
Im kind of here for radcliff becoming the new go-to bond villain guy. Also everything everywhere looks insane. And its either russian doll and shes variably insane, or its maniac and the worlds just insane.
8:09 True. Holland is a bit young for this, but that's actually an older Nathan Drake from Uncharted 4 in the picture. I honestly don't think that Holland is terrible for this. Although Nathan Drake has some good stubble and Holland I guess struggles with facial hair. Wahlberg was actually the worse casting for me. At least they gave him the mustache in this trailer. But Sully was supposed to meet Nate while he was a street kid at like 13 years old. They're supposed to have a father/son relationship and most of the time we see him he's fully gray-haired. Wahlberg is too young for that. He would actually be better casting for Sam, but even that is a little off. They're also mixing things from all the games anyway. That airplane scene is from Uncharted 3, we didn't meet Chloe until Uncharted 2, and we didn't hear anything about Sam until Uncharted 4. So, I guess at the end of the day it's just about if they can put together a good movie and capture the spirit of the series. If they can do that, the fans will forgive a lot of liberties taken with specific details and they will likely bring in new fans of these characters using the movies. I just don't know why they have to take so many liberties for no reason. Just tell the story. They've been around and popular this long because they're good as they are. Like you guys say. Just do the thing. It's that simple.
Tom Holland plays a jovial everyman who gets mixed up with an international world class burglar, (Zendaya) to steal the fabled Whatzit of Who'zie from the crypt of Where'zit before the stroke of When'zies, while being chased by the Austrian equivalent of The Track Suit Gang. $$$$$
You guys need to watch Pig. It's up there as maybe Nick Cages best movie. You also need to watch The Devil All The Time on Netflix. It's Tom Holland at his best IMO. I'm totally there for Uncharted when it comes out. There's quite a few movies between here and Batman that I want to see.
If you watch The Gentleman, Hugh Grants character in that sounds just like the one in operation fortune… yet a different character name. I’m wondering if this is some kind of stealth sequel
That Statham trailer... I was really bored by it and I like the guy and adore Aubrey Plaza but the movie looks horrendous and they showed all of it here so no need to watch it.

@@renegarza9 it really is!!!
Didn't know this until afterwards but the actor playing her husband was Short Round from Temple of Doom. It's his first major role in almost 30 years
I came here after watching Everything everywhere all at once. It was SO good. I cried from laughing 3 times
I cried from EMOTIONAL DAMAGE
I'm glad I'm not the only one who came back here hoping for a reaction. This could be my favorite movie of all time. Words can't define how well executed it is.
The husband in the Everything, Everywhere trailer was Short Round in Temple of Doom and Data in Goonies.
When are you guys going to react to Everything Everywhere All at Once? The movie is absolutely bonkers, touchingly heartwarming and would be right up Jay's alley.
I don't think the guys realized that The Northman is by the writer/director of The Lighthouse & The Witch (Robert Eggers).
Daniel Radcliffe has done everything he can to find a post-Potter vibe, including playing a corpse. Finally nailed it.
This reminds me I need to see Horns.
Miracle Workers is fantastic! Highly recommend for a good laugh
I saw 2 episodes of Miracle Workers. I do not share your enthusiasm.
And that movie was directed by… Daniels who did Everything Everywhere lol
So the dude playing Michelle Yeoh’s husband in Everything Everywhere… that’s Data from Goonies!
Short Round from Temple of Doom too!
I seriously hope Jack Black has, at least, a cameo in the Foo zombies movie, as Dave was Satan in Tenacious D and the Pic of Destiny. Hello, crossover?? Yes, please!

Right!
Hopefully it’s not all in her head and just a film about some one going nuts.

The Lost City seems like an updated version of Romancing the Stone. And I'm all in for it.
With a small addition of Remington Steele.
Yes!
Glad I'm not the only one who loved that movie. Lol
Come on.. foo figthers are alien sightings by pilots during ww2… commen knowledge :p
Came down to post this. Thank you. Here, take my like.

Foo fighters is a ww2 term for pilots who claimed to see ufo's.
What if every martial arts film you've ever seen was directed by Terry Gilliam. You get Everything, Everywhere, All at Once.
A Shocking Brad Pitt performance.. You could see right through his character in Deadpool 2 :)
I love Audrey Plaza... she's the female version of Ryan Reynolds.

Foo Fighter is another word for a UFO. Also a great movie where Aubrey Plaza plays a "normal" person is "Safety Not Guaranteed".
Amazing movie!
Since you don’t have enough to watch and you love Josh Hartnett may I suggest the series Penny Dreadful where he features heavily. / ♥️
Great show!
Loved that show! Plus, Eva Green... chef's kiss!
Been eager for the Northman reaction! :)
We’re already getting more Spider-Man with Tom Holland. He signed a three picture deal for more with Sony last month lol.
The girl was actually in a drum battle on TikTok with Grohl and he invited her to play at a concert. She crushed it!
"Few actors get to the place where they can play themselves"
Being John Malkovich will always be the best of those movies.
Uncharted does look like the blandest action-adventure movie ever, because its based off a game series based on the bland action-adventure movie genre. Fun to play but, yeah, been done.
The inside of Nick Cages brain has a door that leads to the men's room of the Shoneys on Rte 32 outside of Lubbock, Texas.
i. can’t. WAIT for the northman! so so excited!! btw, it’s based off of the scandinavian legend ‘amleth’ which directly inspired shakespeare’s hamlet.

You should watch Vikings. The OG show that started this whole Viking trend. It's amazing.
It's so good. I couldn't agree more.
