都大醫療化驗科學課程 HKMU Medical Laboratory Science Programme

都大科技學院將於2023年9月開辦醫療化驗科學（榮譽）理學士課程，培育對醫療服務行業有抱負的人才。科技學院更特別投入資源，設立醫療化驗實驗室，提供先進精密的化驗儀器，讓同學透過學習掌握醫療化驗技術。課程獲「醫務化驗師管理委員會」通過評審後，畢業生便能在香港註冊成為醫務化驗師正式執業，或繼續進攻學術領域。
醫療化驗科學課程分為五大核心範疇，分別為臨床血液及輸血科學、臨床化學及免疫學、醫學微生物學、病理組織學與分子診斷學。本課程亦已納入「指定專業/界別課程資助計劃 (SSSDP)」內，合資格同學可以獲得每年課程資助金額港幣78,280。

To foster aspiring talent for the healthcare sector, the first Bachelor of Science with Honours in Medical Laboratory Science Programme will be launched in the coming academic year. The School of Science and Technology has set up dedicated medical laboratories and invested in advanced equipment for our students to acquire medial laboratory science knowledge as well as practical skills. Upon successful accreditation by the Hong Kong Medical Laboratory Technologist Board, graduates of the programme will be qualified and practice as registered medical laboratory technologist in Hong Kong or pursue further studies at local or overseas universities.
The programme has five core disciplines which are Clinical Haematology and Transfusion Science, Clinical Chemistry and Immunology, Medical Microbiology, Cellular Pathology and Molecular Diagnostics. This programme has been included in the “Study Subsidy Scheme for Designated Professions /Sectors” (SSSDP). Eligible students will be provided with an annual subsidy of HK$78,280.
