It's as simple as he only wants JM's attention and affection all for himself but can't really handle it back then but still be jealous if JM directed it to someone else. JK has grown to not only receive but also give them back. Their stares are longer and bolder, not to mention the touches. JK said JM is shameless, and now they both are.
I mostly have an explanation about some moments, but 4:40 was the hardest to explain. I mean Jimin was holding a frickin mic, so there's no way in hell that Jungkook didn't hear when Jimin called him. Also, the way Jungkook's face looked when he did the heart sign was way too obvious. I can see how Jimin was ignoring Jungkook for so long because one Jungkook started at first ignoring Jimin, then Jimin stopped but Jungkook missed the attention he got from Jimin so wanted more but Jimin thought for I think 2 years that Jungkook did not want his attention so stopped giving it and gave it to the other members.

he said he used to be very selfish in the past. He wants everything. "What's mine is mine, what's yours is mine. mine mine mine". I think he was really used to Jimin's all out attention to him. So everytime Jimin shifts to somebody else, JK gets really jealous. I was also like that in high school. I was socially aloof when a very kind classmate who was a social butterfly befriended me first. She was very kind and persistent so I eventually befriended her. I love all the attention she gave me. But when she got famous at school after joining a pageant, she had more friends and I felt really jealous that I had to share her attention with everybody else. I ended up not talking to her out of jealousy until we graduated in highschool. Fast forward to life after college, I saw her in a fastfood chain and she's still very pretty but she avoided me and looked as if she never knew me.

I think that one of the reasons why Jungkook is the jealous type it's because Jimin is the kind of person who everyone loves, literally, everyone loves him and wants to be near him and he corresponds them, simply because he has such a kind a loving heart but it takes a tool on Kookie. While my bio dad, was the opposite. He has a hard time getting along with people and is a big intervert like JK is. He got jealous a lot and accused my mom of flirting with every guy she met. ( Divorced now! Another story.) So, I don't think Jimin is doing it on purpose (Not everytime, another comment said that he does it when he gets upset with JK lol), he is able to get along with everyone very well, and the times he realized JK wasn't feeling it and stops. JK also as an intervert (I am one too, so I know) let's few people in 100% and tends to hold on to Jimin as a safety line when it gets too much. This happened when Jimin turned the tables on Jungkook. Jungkook being so young didnt know his feelings so always used to ignore Jimin. So when Jimin decided to stop paying him attention, that is when Jungkook realised what he was missing and gradually started realising his feelings for Jimin. 9 years down the line and look where they are today - the perfect couple.

I know this is like too big of an analysis or whatever and I don't want people to be butthurt if they don't ship Jikook, but here's the way I see things between Jungkook and Jimin.
I personally think that Jimin shows how he feels about Jungkook, no matter who's around or where they are. If some of you disagree, there are dozens of vidoes that prove that I am right. Jimin's love for Jungkook is clearly visible, whether that love is a brotherly one or -more than a friend- one. Everybody knows that Jimin cares for him so much, but many people also claim that Jungkook doesn't like him or doesn't feel comfortable around him, for some reason. Here's where I'll include Jungkook's point of view. Jungkook as many people should know, more of an introvert person, that means he doesn't like showing his feelings out in the open and I can relate to that, because that's how I used to be. He is one of the strongest (emotionally wise) one among the other members and rarely shows what he truly feels. We constantly see this facade that to some people looks like an emotionless one. But I beg to differ. Jungkook is in my opinion a very emotional person. He looks like he gets offended easily, but covers it up with a laugh or acts as it didn't hurt him. I KNOW how that feels, because I am like that too.
Also many people like to believe that Jungkook gets annoyed by Jimin, but that is completely false. Jungkook really loves his hyung and just because he doesn't say it a much as Jimin does, doesn't mean he loves him any less. This video PROVES that Jungkook loves Jimin a lot and that he gets jealous quite often, but this is of course your choice whether you'd like to believe that or not. And last but not least, I believe that Jungkook is that type of a person that keeps his thoughts, worries and feelings to himself and THAT is what we see instead of his true beliefs and true self. I am NO ONE to say that what I just wrote is true, because this is MY way of seeing things between them.
In conclusion, I KNOW that Jungkook and Jimin will always love each other, no matter how people see it or think of it.

Depois de quatro anos postado irei fazer meu comentário. Sem dúvida alguma JK já havia começado a gostar de JM e JM também já, só que JM estava querendo ter a certeza que havia reciprocidade. Hoje essa clareza está a nossa frente nos encantando e nos deixando aos nervos para que se torne real do real para nós humilde exército que aguarda ansiosamente o que já salta aos olhos. São enumeras dicas que estão nos presenteando como: fotos sempre juntos, alianças, passeio em família de Jk, almoço com irmão de JM. Temos várias e várias dicas de tudo está indo muito bem. Agradeço por manterem meu coração aquecido aos 5.8 sonhando com este amor e de ver como eles estão flutuando no mar da paixão JM&JK forever 💜🇧🇷❤️
