howmuch does something like this cost

You mean boost is magic. He took a mildly warmed over LSx and added 17 psig. The base engine makes about 470 bhp...which is basically cam/headers. None of his base engines are spectacular.
As others have pointed out, reliability becomes a big issue with "stock" bottom end. Watch him put dished pistons in the LT1 and blow it up.

Hows the twin turbo 4wd GTO going?
I can't wait to see that thing in action

Question, when you do these dyno pulls are you just making a safe tune then just cranking the boost up, if so why not just tune a low boost and high boost to make even more power rather than running lean near the top end

What are you trying to say? That by lowering the compression from 11.5:1 to an appropiate level for turbocharging, he'll risk blowing the motor? ?

Mildly warmed over? I'm 99 % sure that the internals are not stock. If you look at the spec sheet for the LSX daily drivers, they use Callies forged crank, JE pistons, Clevite bearings, Oliver billet rods, Hell Fire rings, incolnel valves ect. Not exactly a stock bottom end if you ask me. I think what he means by basically stock, is the mild cam and low compression. A 30k engine usually contains a few good parts. A well built LSX will live in a car with 750-1000 hp. They live in boats with 750+.

How long will this motor last under 15psi of boost like? More details about the internals would be interesting. I think i heard the word stock...

You mean NRE needs to get ahold of the new LT1 so he can work his magic on it.

13.5:1 seems a little lean for a pump gas 1000 horse twin turbo set up... I try to keep my stuff around 11.9-12.5....... Nobody likes holes in their $20,000 engines.

Thank you ... I didn't think there was anyone else who noticed the obvious void between the ear's of the young man asking the "How do I make it go faster" Knob question's ??? To bad Cash can't buy you wisdom or common sense just lot's of trouble. One doesn't have to be Nostradamus to see how this end's up ...

What could you do with a better camor any other upgrades you can do to get more power out of that little thumper ?? I’m not saying what you have isn’t a true hot road motor in any words at all . I’m always wanting to see something I think is best and see if it can be upgraded and made faster with more power

@mydogzty ls1,ls2,ls3,ls7ls9,lq4lq9 etc. all the same family of engines. lsx is just a combination of parts from the ls family, if its a stock motor it goes by its name i.e ls2 but if it's say a bored out 5.3 with 317 (6.0) heads its an lsx
