Really enjoyed this breakdown. I have a weak spot for TE's. This helps simplify how I should be approaching TE's logically. That 1st round draft capital is eye popping for their success rates!
I just spoke about him in my AFC West breakdown I'm posting soon. I think it's likely to remain a committee for now. I'm not particularly interested in him.
Sitting at 1.08 in a SF non tight end premium league and I’m stuck between taking bowers or brooks. I already have McBride and Andrews. Would you still take Bowers?
I personally still favor Bowers significantly over Brooks. But if you're weak at RB, I can't argue with taking Brooks there. Though potentially you can draft Bowers and trade McBride for a better RB?
I wouldn't say I'm quite at that extreme, but I used to view tight end as a real difference maker when there were only a couple of good ones. Now that there's so much more depth at the position, I'm more inclined to pass on it until later. So I'd say I'm close to "te doesn't matter" than I was, but I still don't want to stream the position.
@@thefantasyfirstdown very fair hard to find that balance I passed on Brock at 1.08 in my 14 man league but had him fall to me at 1.10 in another league which felt more reasonable for picking a TE!
@@grimeythree4294 in a rookie draft that's incredible value. I've seen him go as high as 1.03 and I'd take him in any non-superflex draft at 1.06 at the latest. He's so much safer than everyone except the top three receivers and maybe Williams and Daniels.
@@grimeythree4294 ahhh that does make a difference. He's more of a 1.07-1.10 in superflex. I'd take the top three receivers, Williams, Daniels and Maye over him without doubt. Whether I take the other QBs will depend entirely on my needs.

Appreciate it!
I don’t want to look at this in 3 years and be like: boy was I wrong. Don’t be cruel, 2027.
Me neither, be good to me Brock.
@thefantasyfirstdown how do you view a player like Dulcich? Injuries have destroyed his value. But showed some great potential year 1.

In non te premium do you fall into the “te doesn’t matter” group?
