Your contributions will be going towards helping Alie buy a new MacBook Pro so that her sanity is maintained while we continue to pump out the videos :) (or current MacBook is on its last legs and limping along). Thanks for your consideration!
Thank you.
Nice to find you 😊 Looking forward to following your crossing of the Pacific - boldly going where few have gone before ⛵️
Welcome! Exciting time to join us for sure!!
Hats off Allie on a successful full deployment of the sail bag. Sewing multi layers of canvas is not easy but no suprise it turned out well and diy lazy jacks topped off a job well done. Always look fwd to your adventures and know I will leave with a huge smile, you totally crack me up!! Best as always
Thank you ☺️
Way to go guys making your adventures happen. Cheers
Where the lazy jacks attach to the lower spreader you must attach another line from there to the inside of the upper spreader next to the mast. When the sails are banging on the lazy jacks the force will be pulling DOWN on the spreader and it will break, that is why you must support the outer end of the lower spreader.
Thanks we will take a look at that!!
Guys you are crossing the largest ocean. A reliable dingy is required. The Canadian unit has been failing for a while, the answer would be a Highfield as they have been used on long and circumnavigation trips as the go to dingy. Another thing you should have considered was a water maker. You have been to the boat shows and have met other mariners. If you look at Ruby Rose2 and Gone with the Wynns, they are only 2 people on a boat and have water makers.
Love the dance Allie, great adventures as always,
Thank you 🤗
Simply stupendous stack pack ! Such a shame about the desperately deflating dinghy, but good times are ahead and I’m so looking forward to following the big crossing with you ! 😊👍
I am so exited for you two. Good job on measuring the stack pack correctly! that stuff can be stressful for so many reasons. I look forward to watching you r trip across the Pacific!!!
Try green slime, I use it on my tractor tires, works great

Can't wait to watch you two sail across the Pacific. It's gonna be good.
Wow those are some big acts to follow :) Thanks!!
Congratulations on starting your year long sabbatical Ben. Great job on the lazy jacks Allie. I can't imagine how many times you measured things before cutting. Shit is getting real. I think I heard Ben say "a week", but that was before ordering a new dinghy. If I ever get tired of Allie in a bikini, just cover me with dirt, I'm already dead. Stay safe. ❤🙏
♥️♥️🥰🥰
Cmon man! You need to show the 2 best things about Barra, JC the French baker, and mango daiquiris at the swim up pool bar!! Sheesh every pacific Mexico cruiser knows this! ( say hello to Isabel from s/v Victoria) carry on……..
Ha well it isn't JC anymore but we do have some footage for next video
Of the new French baker :)

Aww that’s a bummer, dude before JC, started it some 20 years ago, met him as he was passing it over to JC. Change is one thing that’s always a constant🤷♂️ good luck on your crossing! Fair winds
Thank you!
😀😀👍👍❤
What is that tool called you used to cut the line?
A hot knife ☺️ - www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B071Z6ZVPR/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?tag=bwshop02-20&th=1
Thank you! I am sure we will be needing one when we get to the rigging stage.@@BreakingWavesSailing
I have a Stryker dingy and so this makes me sad. I don't have any leaks and hope I can make it across another ocean that way. Great products, but now I'm worried.
We've seen lots of Strykers (older the ours) in Mexico holding up grear! We still think it's a great boat but these things do happen sometimes like with all
Marine gear, sometimes you get 3 years sometimes we get 10, it all goes eventually
Seems like mtb tire juice
"Because I'd really like a dinghy again!" lol Sorry I'm 12.
Maybe you’ve addressed this before but, where is Bruce?
He's with grandma and grandpa for this year
Hi guys! Way to go on the stack pack project! We are starting to research places to leave our boat in the same area-ish. Can you give us a recommendation? And what kind of cost? We are thinking probably 4 months away from the boat at the longest.
