normal people might think this doesn't make a difference, but anyone that actually plays wordle would know that this makes it significantly more difficult. great video!
I'm a bit surprised blindfold sudoku isn't a thing. I know there's a guy does it but he just memorises a completed grid. Thinking back to Scott's 1st April video, blindfold Rubik's cube is quite big. There's one guy who memorised 60 cubes and solved 59 of them in one hour, blindfolded throughout.
Blindfolded cubes aren't solved by memorizing the cube. There's method called old-Pochman that keeps the cube oriented and then a sequence is memorized to put all the pieces in. If you can solve a rubics cube, look up how to solve blindfolded and you'll be amazed how much easier it is than it seems. Never the less, 60 cubes in a row blindfolded is absurd
@@stegra5960 that's interesting. Shows he's fallible. Basically for each cube you memorize a few words, and the letters in the word correspond to a piece. Easy to see how some would get mixed up in a 250 cube sequence. To still get 238 is pretty crazy. I know how to solve one cube blindfolded, and I know how muli-blind works, but I don't know how mucb practice I would need to solve even 5 cubes multi-blind, it's wild and think a human can do that
@@arogueburrito I was quite interested in mnemonic techniques a few years ago and reached a point where I could memorise a list of 200 items and recite them in any order (usually) using an expanded 1-20 word association method of rhymes and symbols. One thing I found was that instantly remembering a girl's phone number and reciting it a week later was generally regarded as creepy rather than impressive. :)
I've just found out tapir is tapir in English hahaha in Portuguese we call it "anta". Excellent video idea!! I can only imagine how hard it must have been to keep track of all information
For the last one the yellow T in TAPIR is actually new information for the 2nd puzzle. A double T was possible up to that point (TOT*R), although there were no words that could be made with the remaining letters.
I actually thought of an idea really similar to this a few days ago! A came up with an idea for a wordle spin off game where you wouldn’t get to see the colors of the letters you put in, but it would read them aloud a single time, and then you would have to remember them. The only problem is I don’t know how to code lol…
Could you try kilordle? You get words if you have all greens for them so the aim is probably to beat 100 guesses(closer to 50 may be possible with clever letter placement).
I think to make it hard and fun. 1. Once a word is already guessed and ur son tells u the greens and yellow, you cant ask for it again after u guessed again
when he said “dealt” the first time I thought he said delta, so when his son typed dealt I was like “omg he typed the wrong word” but then you said now try delta and I was like “ohhhh”
I wrote some code to play Wordle and test different starting guesses. HATER SOUND FLICK results in a guaranteed win 100% of the time for my program. It solves in 4 guesses or less 37.03% of the time. On average, it solves in 4.54 guesses. Fantastic options for starting words!
This was a good idea but would have been more fun to watch if you were only allowed to hear what’s green and yellow once. Being able to ask as much as you want kinda defeats part of this challenge
There was a Tapir exhibit at the zoo near where I grew up. Fun things about them, they fight with each other to display love and they can pee up to 25ft or some other large distance (it has been a while so my number might be off there).
I could be wrong, but I think a tapir (or a variation on it) is the animal at the beginning of Ice Age (the movie) that Manny yells at for leaving because of the panic. Someone, please, correct me if I'm wrong.
Ive been watching you for a while, you are a good youtuber, keep it up. by the way can you use graph, lined and scout for your next video. I would be very excited if you put me in a video
You I should try waffle it’s one of my favorite games it is where you have to we only have 15 tries to try to switch around letters to try to make words it’s very fun let’s look into it I like playing it a lot oh
8:50 his son's face when he saw that tapir was an acceptable word
Ikr😂
I don't see the confusion over tapir being a word, it's an animal and I was under the influence it was well known
I wanted to point that out lol
@@MoeSzyslak20 for real, as a non-native speaker I was confused that there was a word that I knew and Scott didn't for the first time

This is actually a really cool idea, props to you for thinking of it!
Yeah, ik
i think kot4q did it first with poeltl

Nice concept idea! You should do this more in the future, it would be chaotic for octordle or squardle
squardle would be insane
or the duotrigordle 😟
@Xenia © i see this bot all the time. it’s probably a s€x video.

Absurd indeed, but his latest tally is 238/250 in 1hr 26m after 6hrs 26m of memorisation, if that's the right word.

Could you start with LOTUS for my fish that passed about a month ago.
At 9:51 I knew the word tapir, but with the plan scott described there, I found the word "pygmy," with four unused letters.
