Never seen so many compacts, made for a super long night. I hope you aren't discouraged, new track owner had it really smooth last year, hope you come back!
Tough night for sure but that's how it rolls. You'll keep digging and get her dialed in Ryan 💨🤘🏁 Great content, thank you for it all and I'm saving my pennies for some racing swag of yours bud. Represent you here in my hometown of Rutland Vt in the 802 @ West Haven Vermonts Devils Bowl Speedway!!
Like everybody is saying, you'll figure it out! Some cars are just hard to get the right combo at certain tracks. You brought the car home in one piece so it was a good night. You'll be ready to go again, soon as Amber washes the car! Lol!😂
You'll get it figured out one of these days. Glad the engine is ok and running good. I think you were smart to come off the track when your not running for points or anything save the engine and the car for another race. Hope you and the family had a nice relaxing Labor day. Oliver reminds me of myself when I was his age 😊. Have a great weel. Stay Safe. Stay Healthy!
I just feel a driver is at a disadvantage at track he doesn't race at a lot. Keep at it Ryan it's going to turn around for you. Take care till next time and thank you for another good video!
Atomic reminds me a lot of tracks like Tri State Speedway near Ft Smith Arkansas, or Mayetta Kansas, or Enid Speedway in Oklahoma, possibly even a a Deer Creek Speedway in Minnesota.
Camera angles are deceiving but did you need a bigger rearend gear? When it comes to sprint cars I’m a well informed fan (not saying much, eh lol) but nada on Late Models so be patient with me bro... it just looked like your power plant was working hammering and you weren’t getting speed for it. Looked slow. I’ve never been there but it looks like a place that varies week to week.
Hey bud keep your head up. I don’t know how anyone who has ever seen you wheel that thing would think you were short on talent. No matter what their will be tracks that either you or the car just don’t agree with. Take care buddy-row you’ll get em next week.
I could tell you didn't look comfortable in the car like normal. Just keep going back. In time you'll be able to run on that track like you do everywhere else. Good to stay in one piece and get some experience in and learn. Keep up the hard work
Hello Ryan and the crew the wreck you had at Oak Shade look pretty severe besides external damage. If you go back and watch the video on it the way it pushed down on the front end and the rear abruptly bouncing the way it did was there internal damage done. Is it possible there is internal damage to the rear end drive axle, shock or spring damage, suspension bind by damage rod end bearing, mounting brackets cracked, chassis cracks, bent spindles or axle shafts, sprung chassis I know the list can go on. It seems like after that wreck your car is not the same even at Attica it didn't look right. Hopefully it is not something severe enough that ruin the integrity of the car. Thought I would throw some suggestions out there to help narrow down the problem for in my opinion before that wreck your car look to good to look that bad at a different track unless Atomic speedway is a totally different animal the Attica and Oak Shade. Wish you the best brother hope you get her dial back in for in my opinion your driving skills are second to none.
Pitting in the infield was the worst especially us being late models nobody knew anything, part of the reason I loaded up, just compounded other issues I was having.
Hey Ryan it was awesome seeing you live for the first time! Keep your head up your a top notch driver and fun to watch zip around the track! I'm going to have to come to your neck of the woods to watch you race at oakshade or attica and meet ya in person lol
That Track looks Tough It really looks like a Sandbox actually They need to bring some Red Clay from the other Track Named Atomic in Tennessee I gottem mixed up the other day
@@DannyWalker247 I'm in NC our tracks aren't the best but they are way better then them tracks he's on We don't have that Deep Red Clay that packs Like asphault but It's Red Dirt none the less and packs in good
Looks to me , not that it matters but your forward bite is low. Or to much gear? Car turns nice but no forward. Pinion angle , lift bar spring junk ? It can be aggregating I know. Keep your head up , wasn't for a lack of trying. 🏁🇺🇸
The attitude of your car in the front end was diff then others, looked a fair amount lower. I'm not a setup genius but it looked a lot diff in stance !!
HINT #1: Do as Dennis Kippa says in the comments, {sic} "Get a fin comb at the HVAC supply store to straighten the radiator fins". Hint #2: I used to race on oiled clay tracks back in the day (Manchester, Butler, Angola) and that was some sticky sh . . .er . . . stuff. Some cars had a piece of metal window screen in a frame. Then some lengths of light weight chain was placed to hang down the screen. The mud would stick to the screen and the lengths of chain would knock the mud clear of the screen.
Hey Ryan....Sorry about the off night man. It happens to the best of em. The excellent photography adequately showed the car crossed up and in turn messing with your driving style. A good call to off when the chips are down and save the car at least. Understandably your a bit disappointed after putting so much effort and expense into getting to the race meet only to have other issues pop their unwelcome heads up....But that's racing. The rainy day was a good chance for you to rest up... You needed that . Cheers Bro
Oh and another part of my analysis would be a decent amount on the starting money for the feature. My apologize, I normally don't count that because I've work with teams that didn't end up getting starting money for the A feature. Which is why I don't think about start money.
Stop by your local HVAC supply house. They have a evap/condenser comb available that will fit those radiator fins.

Nice!! Thanks for following along all the way form Vermont!
We did learn that atomic had a rough track! Keep digging 👍✝️
Hang tough Ryan. It's time for a few breaks to come your way. 👍
You’ll figure out what to do to pick up some wins on that track never a doubt !!!🤞🤞🤞
Keep on keeping on Ryan.

She would if I let her. Lol. Thanks Al
It was a long night but glad I got to see you race.
I am glad you come down I hope I see you soon buddy again

Keep your head up your a good driver the wins will come
Have you ever tried those honeycomb radiator protectors, they don't block hardly any air , easy to clean and they save your radiator.

Thank You Lynn
Keep working hard.
You’ll get back in the groove
Car wasn't happy. I know you will figure it out keep up the great work keep you're head up
A smart man knows how to save equipment, no use to put laps on that expensive engine. Hopefully you figure out what you need there you can get a w

How much suspension did you tear up on that motor cross track up top?

Hope to see you guys back down there Saturday for the 10k to win show.

Yep. It wasn't ideal at all putting down there
Sounds like you had a long night and learned a bit best part didn't have any damage well tune on it a bit and go get a win enjoyed watching it
Thanks Scott
I was at atomic Sunday and I saw u
Fun watching anyway
Is there a way you can add the tach next to the speedo in the video? Be cool to see what the car is doing.
I cannot add the tach...only speed
@@RyanMissler ah, ok. Well I figured i would ask 🤷🏻♂

Good try man. You can only do what your car will allow. As long as you learned something you made an accomplishment.

hey ryan dirtcarlift on facebook is having giveway for their dirtlift. just thought i let you know
I think personally, a different gear change was needed at that track! Just my opinion bud. Awesome video though. Go gettem next race Ryan.
Thanks David
Looks like you needed a little more gear
Some nights just aren't it but the car stayed together

Hey bud it look like to me u didnt have any forward bite in car and atomic is a horse pwr track for sure better luck next time my friend
It was definitely nose tracking hard instead of hooking up and going
I learned NOT to go there it sure not the track it was looks like a good place for a mall parking lot
looked slow on the straightaway
Quit crying about it and do something about it
