I think that Bayerns performance hasn’t even really dropped. Actually, they have lost the same amount of games that they have been losing for the past several seasons. It’s just that this season Leverkusen hasn’t lost a single game, it’s not so much that Bayern was bad as that Leverkusen were great and above everyone’s expectations.

Tuchel is a very good coach. One of the best in Europe. All good coaches are scared of the Bayern management. The coach is not an employee of Bayern management. They should treat the coach with some respect. Nagelsman is such a good coach. Bayern were doing well with Nagelsman. They suddenly dismiss him when he is on a vacation. This is whimsical behaviour.

Once you start realizing the media are a bunch of vultures looking to “create stories” you start realizing that they overwhelmingly do not have the best interests of clubs at heart. They want to create controversy and drama just for juicy stories so they can have something to talk about.

Bayern Munich’s search for a new manager has been nothing more than just a laughingstock right now. This is normally a club that has stability and is organized and knows what they’re doing but now with Thomas Tuchel leaving the club irrespective of whether or not they win the champions league, they’ve had a managerial merry go round because none of the managers are interested in coaching Bayern Munich.
Julian Nagelsmann the manager that they should’ve never sacked, he extended his tenure with the Germany national team, Xabi Alonso will remain at Bayer Leverkusen for another season, Zidane won’t take the job, even Ralf Rangnick turned them down as well. There are candidates like Roberto de Zerbi Antonio Conte Jose Mourinho etc, at this point with them being rejected by almost every manager, they’re better off keeping Thomas Tuchel for another season. On paper, it’s not been a great season for Bayern Munich because as much talent as they have at their disposal, they failed to win the Bundesliga for the first time since 2012 and they’re on the brink of going a season without winning a trophy, as bad as they’ve been, they’re in the champions league semifinals with Tuchel as their manager. Like Xavi at Barcelona, I don’t know if they can convince him to stay after announcing his departure mid season and then going to the Champions League semifinals after that, but who’s gonna be Bayern Munich’s next manager realistically. The hierarchy might need a plan with Tuchel if none of them want the job.

None would want to go there and getting all those toxic pressure. Even as a fan, I wouldn't want to either.
The board has HUGE ego and want a yes man in a coach. They have nepotism relationship with some of the players. That's why they keep changing coaches every 1 and a half season for 6 years now. Everytime always due to the players.
They have crazy unrealistic demand and expectations but the put too much pressure on the coach with all the limitations for him to make his own decisions. Toxic from inside and outside (media).
Anyone who would be willing to coach that club needs to be fully prepared to get all those hostile pressure and big possibility of ruining their career should they not meet the expectations (if losing the 11th league title to Laverkusen mean the coach did a terrible job, then the next coach.. who ever he is, has to make sure to be able to deliver 101% unbeaten result to match Laverkusen and to win against them. Good luck with it 😅)

2:02 It’s the ownership they fired Salihamidzic and Kahn strictly off the fear they were going to lose the title and then Dortmund chokes the job and it’s too late because the brass has fired them. And coaches looking at this like well if they can be fired for almost losing. It won’t be any different for me. Smart coaches do not go to fickle behavior clubs like Bayern they are too arrogant

As someone who used to work in a control room, I'm always amazed at how apathetic you guys are about putting a technically good product on the air.

Tuchel was put in a difficult situation. How can you motivitate your players in Bundesliga after you've won it 11 times in a row? Even winning gets stale eventually and neither the fans nor managements really valued those last league titles either. Also Bayern has had possession based tactis since van Gaal, whereas Tuchel's style is about counterattack. So, you had to expect a transition period, where things wouldn't go smoothly. The point is, now Bayern is playing well in UCL, and Tuchel's tactics seemed to work well against Arsenal and even Madrid in the 1st leg, so continuing with Tuchel doesn't seem like a such a bad option to me. That's why I feel Hoeneß public critique was stupid and came at completely the wrong moment.
