Navigator is for sale by her second owners who moved her from the Connecticut to Wisconsin. As the 35th hull number in the series, Navigator features the major product developments incorporated as Nordhavn continually refined and upgraded this popular model such as: 24V electrical, full size watch berth in the pilothouse, opening hatch in the owner stateroom; and the best equipment selections such as a Steelhead crane, Lugger wing engine and ABT TRAC active fin stabilizers - all important additions that simply were not available on earlier hulls. Navigator’s primary attributes when comparing Nordhavn 47’s: Two cabin layout, flybridge with stainless framed top, fiberglass stack for the main engine exhaust and a crane for launching the dinghy.
Navigator has generous accommodations and a comfortable layout. The entry level has a spacious saloon and an ideal offshore galley. The raised pilothouse is ideal for underway operations with the flybridge above providing a choice in command locations. The staterooms are forward and below, with the owner situated aft. Interior décor is quite pleasing with Ultraleather upholstery, fitted carpet, custom blinds and granite counters. Machinery and equipment have been serviced (many upgrades and replacements during the current ownership). The engine room has great headroom for easier serviceability.
Navigator is a fantastic trawler for an active owner operator couple. She has been cruised from Florida to the Bahamas and up through Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard enjoying the coast and islands of New England up to Maine. She has traveled the St. Lawrence River to Lake Michigan where she has been fresh water based in Manitowoc, WI (heated dry storage during winter).

She is absolutely lovely.
I am currently in Europe but when I am back in the US in spring (probably March) I may very well be interested in taking a closer look at Navigator, if she is still available at that time.
This is one of the best trawlers I have seen so far.
Judging from the video I don't see anything I would want to be modified right now, which is actually rare.
The forward cabin in particular is very nice and I also love that engine room.
I hate it when there is barely enough space to work in there or even to move around. But Navigator doesn't have that problem at all.
Also, this was a very nice presentation. Thanks for that.
TeeJay: Thank you so much for your thoughtful comments. The summer/fall boating season is getting squeezed out by shorter days as winter gets closer, so in about a month Navigator will be removed from fresh water and stored in covered, heated storage. She can still be seen while in the building, so please feel free to direct message me if you would like more details and we can schedule your visit in March or whenever.

Beautiful 47’! Actually GE does have a replacement trash compactor to replace that spot. Switch out the microwave with a stainless steel microwave and your galley is finished. Beautiful engine room. Always loved the 47’. Great Nordahavn Jeff! 👏

I don’t know how I missed this listing and I’m a bit stunned to see this boat offered for sale. We briefly occupied the slip next to this boat last summer and, when we mentioned to the owner that we might be in the market for a trawler in the next few years, he generously offered us a tour of this beautiful boat. There was no mention of any intent to sell. I hope all is well!

Great video, as usual, would not expect anything less. It's hard to believe that boat is almost 20 years old; it looks like new. Someone will get a beautiful well maintained little ship that's ready to go anywhere you want to go. Absolutely gorgeous.

@@jamesdarcy3902 I don't have the calculations handy and each boat will have variations based on load, sea conditions, etc. I believe your lower numbers are to confirm that if you go slower, you burn less fuel and can increase your range. Nordhavn headquarters may have a range of rpm numbers
Search UA-cam there is a video of a fleet of vessels crossing the pond. Good watch.
How in the hell did they get that thing into a lake isn't that a landlocked body of water and they N47 is actually about 50 ft long there must be see access on that lake where you can get to the ocean
5071: Magic? UFO's? Take a look at the river, locks and lakes system, it's not a straight shot - a couple of detours and delays, but Lake Michigan is easy to reach.

It’s just that everybody looking at these boats especially know , not even especially, it doesn’t matter what price range, there’s gonna be a TV somewhere and especially on a vessel that cost $1 million and they know it’s a hide away. it just kind of cracks me up that every UA-cam boat tour Person really points out the fact that there’s a TV on the boat. And it just seems a bit silly, because here we are talking about a $900,000 boat and we’re making a point to point out the 125 or $200 television set. That’s all, I am not in any way Insulting any of the boat tour guides , as obviously I’m watching them (and enjoying)them. But it just seems a little bit silly to me, only to me maybe that to point out the TV when there is so much more to a 1$million boat than a $250 freaking flatscreen TV. Lol thanks for replying back. I meant no ill will. Totally enjoy the channel 👍

Next time when filming a video, film the boat not the sells man! I want to watch the boat not the man! Mistake that a lot of videographers and sales men do!
