In Life poem "Future Veils" is a personification because inanimate object (future) is compared to human character (veils) , like that, here, in this poem, "Summer of life" must be a personification as inanimate object (Summer) is compared to human character (life)........ but you say it as metaphor... Is my reason correct... If not, kindly correct me... Thank You
Here summer is not compared to life. Summer is indirectly compared as difficult times.

summer = Hard times of life, spring = Good times of life. Comparision naale metaphor bro. Personification ah potray pannanum. Inga apdi ila. Indirect comparision tha pannirkaanga.

Personification is a figure of speech that attributes human nature and characteristics to something that is not human-whether living or nonliving.
