I unexpectedly came across that secret cottage garden the other week. What a delightful thing. Thanks for the content!

The first-time home buyers' credit may work for some buyers in certain parts of the Country. There are first-time homebuying programs in most states that are not advertised enough. The idea of people overbuying is not relevant if the mortgage lender does their job and qualifies them for the home than can afford. It has always baffled me that gross income is how lenders/real estate agents qualify people for homes when payments are made with your net income.

I've never technically lived in Seattle proper but I've owned homes in Renton, Redmond, Edmonds and now Sequim and I specially did NOT move to Seattle because of the Seattle public schools.
If I was thinking about relocating to Seattle I would love to see some videos about Public, Private & Charter School in and around the Seattle area as this was always the #2 reason consideration when buying a new home, for me. (Maybe you've already done one and I missed it.)
ps: I love having the Family video's, reno video and Airbnb videos mixed in with the Seattle Real Estate videos - It illustrates that you definitely "put your money where your mouth is' because you don't just SELL SEATTLE you LIVE SEATTLE - I like that.
And to address your question - NO, I don't think the President can address the housing crisis because the housing crisis is EVERYWHERE and in almost ever country (just look to the north across the border. Same problems!) I am afraid the government meddling in the housing crisis might set off a whole slew of 'unintended consequences.

I’m meh on VP Harris’s $25k first time buyer idea. I agree that it would be inflationary. Maybe if I were a first time buyer, I’d be more excited. I think HUD could move the needle on supply by tying funding to state/local laws that break up single family zoning protections. Minneapolis is a great example there. I’m still an enthusiastic Harris/Walz supporter both on their merits and because I cannot abide another four years of the orange hobgoblin.

Ha, i wouldn't worry about holding your lapel microphone. For some reason, that is a trend in all youtube and social videos. The idea of trying to hide your microphone is a thing of the past it seems. The big microphones do sound good though, but now you look like newscasters. Regardless, still enjoy your videos.
