You know,for the top of the nether thing you can break the nether portal you came in from then build one on top of the nether and get back to the overworld.

You can actually use ladders when you use that nether trick makes it a little easier
and to get back down you can use a nether portal if you happen to have 10-14 pieces of obsidian i recommend using the portal cause then you have a portal strait to the top

on the top of nether thing, you could make a nether portal if you have the blocks, only problem is you need to find home
Point of fact: The top of the nether is NOT a place where you can build anything. Game mechanics will not allow it. Instead, build your house with iron door(s) and the walls made of cobblestone. It's a cheap and effective way to make a base in the nether that won't get blown up.
The glass trick at the start would be great for pranking someone like a mirror trick

Zipline. Its work on java edition but you can put fense and block to zipline
you can make the zipline two by using fence two and it works and it is less exspensive but it still works

ATTENTION: I know a way to actually X-Ray Lava in Vanilla Minecraft. So walk up to lava, press F3. On the right bad side of you screen you should see a block you are looking at. You might have to look through the different lines of information but it is there. If you use that and look under lava, it will say Diamond_Ore if you are looking at diamonds. This works and I have tried it
on the first one the one you walked through glass can you do it with any block?

You can see clearly with fire resistance in the lava
you can connect boats to more than fences. you can connect 2 minecarts or more with a lead or 2 boats or i think all 3 (fence boat and minecart)
What about nether portle to get out of the top of the nether
The reason the ender-pearling to the top of the nether is difficult is because some recent updates make it so the ender pearls require a second to cool down before they can be thrown again. The TikTok was somebody in an older version spamming the ender-pearls.
