Baybay, officially the City of Baybay, is a 1st class component city in the province of Leyte, Philippines. It has a population of 111,848 people. With an area of 45,934 hectares, it is the second largest city in the province after Ormoc.
Baybay City is known for their Beautiful natural rivers, hot springs, nature pool and falls, beaches, caves, and old relics can be found within the City limits. The City is also home to the Visayas State University, a locally and internationally renowned tertiary institution that specializes in agricultural research and education.
