It's not 4×4 spacing. It's more than that. Kindly don't mislead the farmers sir. Your pillars are itself placed 7 feet- 8 feet apart from center of the pillar. If you do 4x4 spacing you can't enter the farm and it will damage the plant while plucking pepper. Your method is good and innovative.
Sir 4 x 4 spacing also I have but hight must reduce below six and what you told it's right very difficult but you can work, but ideal is 6 x 6 and hight 7 feet it's best

if we do plantation on gliricidia at what distance you recommend the plantation. and can we cut the height to 8ft not allow to grow more tall. will it give same yield or less.
If you are keeping 8 feet then spacing should keep 7 x 7 spacing crop almost 3 ton per acre
