After seeing the very detailed and practical step-by-step video for the Virtual Guitarist series, I was really hoping for more of the same style of videos for the rest of the product lineup. I'm very happy to see this one for Virtual Drummer.
Thanks for the kind words! 🙏 Glad you found the Virtual Guitarist series helpful, and it's awesome to hear you're enjoying the Virtual Drummer tutorial too. Stay tuned - we're working on more Explained videos for the rest of the lineup! 😊🎶
🎉This is once again an excellent tutorial and everything is presented in a clear and practical way that it is a joy to watch and I can hardly wait to try out various things in my DAW myself. At this point, a big compliment to the UJAM developers for creating such plugins. What a lot of know-how and development work is involved...🥁👍🎯💯
Thank you so much for the kind words! 🙏 We're happy you enjoyed the tutorial and appreciate the recognition for our development team - there's definitely a lot of love and effort behind these plugins. Which VD is your favorite? 🎶🥁
@@ujamInstruments 🍀I now have six different VD. I don't have a favorite because each VD delivers the best results depending on the application. My first "Virtual Drummer" was the Korg Minipops 3 (in the mid-70s), second Korg KPR-77 - and than RX-11 (Yamaha), in the mid-80s ;-) And some other "drum-machines" more...😉
Oh nice! Love me some vintage drum machines! 😍 🥁 The Korg Minipops 3 must have been a fun one to start with! 🎶 Thanks for sharing and happy music-making!
What's the main difference between the Virtual Drummer series and the Beatmaker 2 series? They seem almost identical as far as features, but the Virtual Drummer series is so much more expensive. That being said, I own several Beatmaker 2 instruments and love them. I wanted to get Brute, but I'm just not understanding why such a price difference.
Great question! 🥁 The Virtual Drummers use sampled acoustic drums, recorded in a professional studio, while the Beatmakers use more electronic and processed sounds. Our VDs emulate a live drummer's performance, whereas the Beatmakers focus on programmed, loop-based rhythms. The Drummers also feature ambience mics (Overhead and Room) for an even more realistic acoustic drum sound. Hope that clarifies it! 🎵
Yeah shortly after I sent that message I figured that might be it. That makes sense. I just bought three more of these from the Beatmaker 2 series. They are so fun to play with and make throwing down ideas quickly a breeze. I guess I'll wait for Black Friday to grab Brute. 🙂 Thanks!

Is there a way in FL studio to route the UJam virtual guitarist to another instrument? I want the midi from the phrases for another guitar vst.
The VG Series doesn't have Midi Out but you can drag & drop the Midi of the phrases and use it with another instrument. 🎸 🎵
