Discoloration on the face and paws indicates an allergy that could have been caused by bad food. Shih tzu are very often allergic to chicken and grains. Beware, chicken fat in the food can also cause allergies.
I want these bows for my shih! I would never keep my dogs ears that long, I want to but I like to take her for walks outside.. where she drags them all across the ground every 2 seconds

We just got a Malshi half and half she is adorable I highly recommend a mix of the two breeds.
I’ve had both. Shih Tzu is great for chilling.
