Yes!! I was in St Charles Illinois and saw them at Pheasant Run with Kenny Roger's 1988 or so got to hang out with them up in the tower lounge it was great
Who knew his brother Terry had such a good solo voice as well as sang harmony so well! A great performance by two of country music’s best male artists!!
I Myself Have Known "Steve Wariner" Now Just A Little Over 30 Years. He's Absolutely One Out Of A Dozen Of My Country Artist Friends I Call A B.F.F., & I Was So Lucky To Chauffeur "Steve Wariner" That Day To The Taping In 1984, On My 24 ,Th Birthday. Sept. 28, 1984 @ Austin City Limits. "Wow" What A Great Day I Had. It Was "Awesome". & Of Course We're Still Friends. Love Ya!! "Steve". 3/23/15.
I LOVE this song! When I was in college in the early 80's, my roommate had a crush on Steve Wariner. We saw him so many times that school year that he remembered our names!
Thanks for liking my music and all the support, I hope you never stop listening to my music. That sounds great. How long have you be a fan of my music? That's really inspiring, you sound like a good fan of mine and anytime I have a show close to your zone, I will not fail to reach out to you and you will get a free ticket from me, we would also get the opportunity to meet in person, sit, talk and have a couple of drinks before my show begins, how does that sound? Will like to honor you by giving you my number so we can get to talk more my number is 2677020216.,
I've had the privelage of meeting Steve and his brother Terry and his mother and father, because are from my hometown, and his Brother Terry and father still live here. His mother passed away about a month ago
Great song.I'm a musician,& I love singing this.I can also speak from experience that it's true. From back when country music still sounded authentic.Sadly,in the 21st century, like so many other things,it doesn't.
Steve Wariner one of the last of the great sounding country artists. I always thought he was kinda in the shadows of all the best ones from the 60 s and. 70 s. Of course this back in the day when country sounded like country!!! Not like today's so called country artists that all sound the damn same to me!!!

Absolutely! Probably the most underrated performer in Nashville for a lot of years. Thanks to Chet, however he made a great living in front of the band instead of standing behind the star and just picking. Chet being the head of RCA help bring a lot of pickers to the front. Thank goodness!!!

Yep. One here. A little late seeing this video though. I saw another one yesterday of SW with George on the drum kit. I don't think they took advantage of his vocal though. He could really get up there in range. Up above Timothy B., so that's up there.

Wariner is a great picker, but there are a lot of pickers in this town that are as good if not better than those "famous" players the public has known all these years. When Chet ran RCA he put a lot of pickers to the forefront that would have never gotten much public acclaim because pickers were hidden in the studios and standing behind the singers or so called "stars". With this bunch that is putting out the music down here now the pickers have been pushed to the back again. Sad, really sad!
I just heard this on the radio. I wonder if he banged alot of "lonely women" ? Lol He was so cute! This song is a warning to men about married/taken women, who end up straying because their men aren't doing what they should be or doing what they shouldn't be,for all of you who don't know and for those of you who do,(Captain Obvious says your welcome,Lol),which is no excuse for cheating, just saying...not condemning or condoning,I'm totally neutral when it's not my business.✌️❤️😊

The lyrics and premise of this song are totally ridiculous, but it's a well-written and catchy pop song and one of my favorites/guilty pleasures.

This video is such a mess. I still love it.
They look alike
Written by my buddy Spooner Oldham and Freddie Weller
Allyn Love on the steel guitar. One of the best there is and a good guy.
Looks like George Gratham from Poco on the drums
80 singers had good mullets

next to merle haggard the best guitar picker in Nashville ever
Donna Kuhn amen saw him several times he is a wonderful talented guitarist
Merle is good, but Glen Campbell and Roy Clark are better. Steve played with Glen on several occasions.
