there really needs to be a format that lets you Mind's Desire into Mind's Desire. It's either banned or a singleton in every format (including Premodern), when Desire into Desire is most of what makes the card be what it is.

Question why is it that trinket mage would have been great when it came up? Is fetching a mox while youre at 3 mana already really an amazing thing to do? Not doubting just trying to understand

Is there a list for this cube? You said it was similar with some tweaks. I see a few right off the bat, Urza and Powerstone melds being one. Is there a link to check it out?
If its pack 3 there are some niche scenarios where you might pass them. The mox moreso. Black Lotus probably has some situations where it is correct to pass, but you could probably count the numvet of times thag has actually ever happened and been correct on your fingers.

The only exception I make is cube drafting, so thank you , LSV for posting these videos. * note: I stopped playing seriously long before, but I still came back for prereleases and the occasional draft, since 2021 I stopped that too
My monitor's low-res, so I'm having trouble making out the card text on a lot of these unfamiliar cards. Would it be possible to zoom in 10% or 20% so I can read along with you?
Feel like match 1 you shouldn't of plus'd kaito you didn't need to draw just to discard you had plenty in hand and risking not having mana was rough. Match 2 why not high tide? could've dark ritual to get jace out floating a blue and black still, did the jace brain storm then high tided to get up to 9 blue and 1 black floating you could then play narset the same way go down to 7 blue floating, and either play Urza and hold up clique or play urza and spin twice after you play frantic search.

Typically no, Sol Ring and Ancestral Recall are the only usual exceptions. They're called the power 9 for a reason. Great in any and every deck.

This is why I prefer MTGO or Arena to these third-party applications: LSV sided down to 38 cards by accident, giving him a huge advantage.

…It was played on MTGO. Also the “advantage” is basically negligible.
Playing 17 lands 21 spells is arguably worse than 17 lands 23 spells.
