Hi MSH - Please keep up the great work. If someone disagrees with it, they’re welcome to do their own test and video for the UA-cam world. It’s too easy to criticize from a distance than challenge yourself to produce a better product for the public. I appreciate and value your opinion and if others don’t appreciate your work, they can move on. Thanks again for all the effort you put into your videos!
I have bought some of the golf balls that you have reviewed. Because you are one of us, an everyday golfer. Keep up the great work. Ball reviews got me hooked on your channel.
Ignore the haters. Your reviews are fine as done. Helluva lot better than "I like this one" or "Eh, this ball isn't for me" with nothing more. You DO post numbers and when you review cheap balls no one in their right mind expects that tour quality golf balls are going to be found at the bottom of the price list. Hang in there!
Your tests are of extreme integrity and honesty. Your videos are always righteous. Anyone that would give a comment such as that is nothing but a keyboard warrior. They are gutless spineless and cowardly. I only watch your UA-cam channel because of the righteous integrity and honesty that you show.
MSH, I think you are doing a GREAT service for all of us with all of your reviews and playing tips. As with all youtubers I feel that you are giving us your honest feelings on the products that you test and that is all that anyone who follows you could ask for so thank you. As with any real field review the info that you pass on is your opinion and I feel that you give us your non biased opinion. No matter what you say there will always be those that strike out (they are usually insecure with there own ability or just basically unhappy people) but I myself appreciate hearing what all of you gents and gals producing youtube golf content have to say and use the info that all present to make decisions on giving new equipment and accessories a try. Dear MSH, You are too nice a person to let some internet "troll" get you down. I enjoy watching you golf with your smooth easy swing. It encourages me. My days of powering through 18 holes are long gone. I'm 72 years old and besides my family, golf is one of my few passions. Also, I really appreciate your product reviews. I'm always on the lookout for the best feel/distance/price golf ball. I've watched enough of your videos to come to respect your opinion. And your camera work, audio, and editing are of the highest quality. Too many people take those things for granted. Always looking forward to your next video. Thanks and take care.

As far as reviews, some people need to keep their pie holes shut and get a life. Love ya, and I hope to get up there sometime to pick your pocket!
Keep it up Mister. Your on course review are spot on. All that scientific stuff is great for a pro earning millions, but for a regular guy like me, your opinion from actually playing a ball means a bunch. I stick with my favorite but it's nice to know the info you provide.
I have a UA-cam channel in the DIY/Woodworking space. I had someone complaining in my comments about the pricing I gave on a tool I was reviewing. The video was over a year old. Yeah. The price changed a little in a year. Sorry, I can't predict the future. Your ball reviews are great. They got me to try the Wilson Triad and I love that ball. Ignore the haters and keep up the great work.

I think there's a world for both reviews, as you pointed out the my golf spy guys sort of break it down from the inside out. That said, I really appreciate your on the course, real world real golfer reviews. I also find these reviews entertaining, I guess take that with a grain of salt. But after a long day of work or something like that, I enjoy sitting down and watching your videos, helps me relax and I'm learning a little bit. I feel the same way about your club reviews. As a nine handicap, I'm not really that interested in how Rory McIlroy hits his irons, or what a robot can do. I love seeing these videos where let's say a good golfer, playing a municipal course is giving us a play-by-play and feedback. To me, that's very helpful. And anyway we already know what this other commenter posted, these very cheap balls made in China or some of taiwan's lesser-known factories are not going to be perfect. And anyone that's a low single digit golfer knows that and is most likely not going to play a $15 box of pinnacles. So anyway, keep up the good work, your videos are very relatable, very enjoyable to watch and I'm learning something that I can usually apply to my own game.
Could’ve been lawn mower blades and “Somebody” would still find fault. Contractors like gas mowers and home owners like electric, both cut grass and the method only matters to the person with time on their hands. Your “I love me room” shows you’ve earned your stripes with awards and trophies …I appreciate your content and life’s too short to split hairs! I started with Warbirds but have progressed to the Wilson zip? Life’s good
That comment was BS.... You do a good job of using valid statistics in your ball reviews, along with using a benchmark, and you define your terms. Golf is a lot about feel, and you talk about that as well. What ball do you like to use currently? Thanks for your videos, please keep them coming.
You be you. The reviews are honest and worth viewing. We viewers know. I will echo all the other positives from all the other comments. As I like to say, "it is lonely at the top."
I like ball and equipment reviews. I only wish you were able to do more. They’re fun to watch. But I try to watch all your vids anyway. Keep doing your channel the way you like. Fans will find you, and you can’t please everyone. ⛳️
I think Mistah Short Hitter Labs does a good job of giving real word testing of the balls/ equipment. I don’t care how machines and other laboratory equipment can hit, I want to know how a good ball striker can fare with it. MSH gives his opinion based on the tests and viewers then can observe and make up their own mind about it.

Right...."Back to the golf"...exactly what I think....Oh, and that guy that launched the club...could you check? If that's a CBX wedge, 50 degrees...I could use one!
I don't recall the "5 Best Cheap Golf Balls" vid, but part of what makes a "cheap" golf ball sometimes is, like many other products in this or other markets, build consistency. So to me it's just part and parcel of the budget category (I'm not convinced that the average budget ball purchaser will even notice any slight inconsistencies). Seems to me like the commenter might have a little too much time on their hands. Keep doing what you're doing, MSH! Illegitimi non carborundum.
but really what is there to reviewing a ball? man buys ball....man plays ball....man likes/dislikes ball and i appreciate him using it on the course because thats exactly how it should be, and what everyone else in the real world does. no one in the real world spends all day hitting a simulator and taking it as sacred. sims dont justify anything, and i actually hate how all the popular guys use them and go off as if there 100% accurate, but then on the course they completely fail. the only way to get a ball's true performance, is to use it. and yes, i watch channels like the "golfballaddict". but in reality, a computer will never beat real life. no one uses calculators on the course because in most cases, its bs
Your golf ball tests are more than good enough for the weekend golfer. The only interest I have in a golf ball is how it reacts on the golf course using all the different golf clubs. I am always on the look out for the best 2/3 piece golf balls on the market and I believe a good 2/3 piece golf ball is good enough for the weekend golfer. I test golf balls exactly as you do and I'm always looking for a new one to try as the manufacturers increase the price of golf balls that become popular. I mean $30 is ridiculous for a Callaway super soft golf ball and there are many golf balls equal to it at a much lower price point.
Yeah. Just ignore him. You’re saving us money because you purchase or acquire the balls and we don’t have to. Your testing is similar to how we would too. Thank you for proving content that is enjoyable to watch!
Why oh why would you give us incomplete info, 😂😂😂😂 It doesn’t matter if a ball hits well for us it matters what happens in laboratory testing😂😂😂 I hope this sarcasm comes across ok……Ya know I have enjoyed your channel for a long time now….Relatable everyday bloke…..much better experienced golfer than I am….keep on keeping on man👍👍
You do you brother... the difference between most golf balls these days is minimal. Find one you like and play it. It's more about the player than the ball.
The thing is, you take the ball, you play with it, give your opinion of it. What more can you do? People have a fast swing speed, a high compression ball should suit them. But we are all different. Keep giving your opinion, which I respect, and if I think I will give that ball a try, that is my choice. If it doesn't work fine, move on.
Titleist makes Pinnacle golf balls, the chance of one being out of balance is the same as any other Titleist golf ball, even the "famous" Pro V1 balls can be out of balance it has been proven with tests.. the results are not misleading, it is the responsibility of the viewer to use the data as it fits their game. So I would say continue to do your reviews.
Like your reviews, because you swing about the same speed as me . Don’t care what some robot that hits it perfect every time shows. Definitely don’t care about a 1 handicap at 100 mph says . Thanks for what you do.
Dude don't pay any attention to guys like that! Keep doing you because we love it. You and I are about the same SS, but I am a lot more erratic than you on the course, so I really enjoy watching you. Your Truth review is what most of us look for when choosing a ball. Anyway, don't get down from the one guy out of 100 who has to be negative.
I think that the vast majority of golfers spend way too much on premium golf balls. I don't rely on golf ball reviews. I simply play with a ball and see how I like it. I believe that you do the same thing with your reviews. I understand that. Some folks just have to justify their ridiculous spending on golf stuff. I see it all the time, 2 grand in the golf bag and they shoot 110. I mean, they could do the same with $300 in the bag.
Your golf ball reviews are judged by you on your unbiased personal performance in the studio and on the course in real conditions. We appreciate your expertise, keep them coming.
MSH I enjoy all of your ball test videos. Everything is subjective. You log spin rate, launch numbers and carry distance...This is all I need, and as you said MyGolf Spy does a thorough test. Some people just aren't happy people. You have never mislead anyone. Keep hitting em straight.
Another great video. I watch your golf ball reviews in the past and they are fine. If someone does not like you process, they should move on to another channel. We all have choices.
No matter if it’s balls, clubs, swing aids…whatever, do what you do and let the chips fall where they may. We have the choice to watch or not. As long as you are honest to you, everything will be fine.
That comment's made by an inexpert golfer and it's very easy to refute: 1. Premium balls have been found less balanced per box than cheap balls as they showed on a YT video regarding the issue where they found 3 balls big time out-of-wack in a dozen box. Out of a $55 box of 12 there were $4.5ea x 3 = $14 bucks wasted. This video is even worse! ua-cam.com/video/Zbl0-gONBT4/v-deo.html That's why Bryson Dechambeau put ever ball he uses in water to check if they're in balance due to the positioning of the inner core. More over, they found out there's no perfect ball! ua-cam.com/video/4FWTH2KfymQ/v-deo.html 2. Reason? They most are 3 to 5-piece built, hence more chances of manufacturing error 3. 2-piece balls are way more simple to manufacture with less parts to deal with, and not all, but most of them are built by the same company that sell the premium ones Checking Srixons: ua-cam.com/video/Q8jBDnnqi3Q/v-deo.html
I am SURE, anyone who watches your ball test, is watching other reviews as well. NO ONE watches just one, “which ball to use” review. I can’t speak for the commenter personally, but chances are, people who dispute you, are probably regurgitating information from another review video. Again I can’t speak for that person though. Just saying how do we know that person even knows what they’re talking about🤷🏾♂️
This person is crazy if they think only $50-60 dollar golf balls are perfect. For the everyday player there are plenty of $30-35 dollar golf balls that are perfectly balanced and centered.
100% I ignore most ball reviews simply due the Tour player speeds 115mph used to review 95mph typical gamers. Green side games flopping balls to the pin. Whilst 90% use chip and run. My handicap is 5. But rarely using Uratherne 3 layer balls. Give me Inomer 70 compression. Then im on the fairways. Not pull hooks and slices.
Real golf. On a real course. By a real golfer that is very consistent with their ball striking, is way better than only using launch monitors, indoors, off a mat, with a robot. It’s obvious you never intended for your reviews to be full on QC efforts. It’s helpful to see how the balls perform in the wild. Ignore the white noise. He probably plays off a -28 handicap.
The only golfers I dislike are elitist golfers who think they know everything. You're reviews are for us, average golfers who love the game and our goal is to break 90 and at least once per summer break 80. I like how you compare your results to the Prov 1.
Few people I play with hit the same ball. I feel your reviews are based on your swing and the way you play. My swing and the courses I play are different. I have different needs in a golf ball than you. Your reviews are for information only. If someone does not like one of your videos, don't watch.
Look man don’t sweat it. Those are all entry level balls to begin with and you can’t fully research every single nuance. Some things we all have to figure out for ourselves. Let’s talk nitty gritty. What a beautiful day for golf in this video. Green grass fall colors and no one else out there. I’m a jealous. Hit ‘em straight and just always give your honest opinion. 👍👍👍👍
You don’t have to clarify anything. The hell with losers like that-they are like political fact checking losers and they need a life. You have said several times it is not scientific. I’m going to stop here because I will get too upset. You don’t need to waste time responding to these idiots.

I mean $30 is ridiculous for a Callaway super soft golf ball and there are many golf balls equal to it at a much lower price point.
I appreciate you!
And I appreciate you and your content. Thank you
Yeah. Just ignore him. You’re saving us money because you purchase or acquire the balls and we don’t have to. Your testing is similar to how we would too. Thank you for proving content that is enjoyable to watch!
Thank you so much!
Why oh why would you give us incomplete info, 😂😂😂😂 It doesn’t matter if a ball hits well for us it matters what happens in laboratory testing😂😂😂 I hope this sarcasm comes across ok……Ya know I have enjoyed your channel for a long time now….Relatable everyday bloke…..much better experienced golfer than I am….keep on keeping on man👍👍
Thank you so much, Doug!
Your great msh

Well... that guy/girl can kick rocks. Now.. back to golf.... your game is solid!! Love all your content
@@gcoffey223 Thank you for your support!
You do you brother... the difference between most golf balls these days is minimal. Find one you like and play it. It's more about the player than the ball.
@@jeffb.8178 Thank you for watching!
I just love the way you test balls.

Appreciate your channel
I appreciate you watching!
You so just fine. Haters gonna hate. I appreciate what you do.
Thank you!
That is exactly how it should work! Thank you, John!
its not that serious. we appreciate your videos.
Thank you for watching!
I definitely will!
Like your reviews, because you swing about the same speed as me . Don’t care what some robot that hits it perfect every time shows. Definitely don’t care about a 1 handicap at 100 mph says . Thanks for what you do.
Thank you for watching!
Thank you so much, Michael!
@ if you are ever out in the Tampa area, shoot me a message as I would love to get out and play with ya.
Comment from windynutz isn't worth wasting time over. Love your channel. Haters need to find another channel. Better yet, start their own.
You said it best! Thank you, Monty!
@@mistahshorthitter Keep the great content coming! I appreciate all your effort and hard work. I don't know how you do it.
Thank you for watching!
Your golf ball reviews are judged by you on your unbiased personal performance in the studio and on the course in real conditions. We appreciate your expertise, keep them coming.
Thank you so much!

I enjoy all of your ball test videos.

Lol you’re a regular guy putting out good info awesome videos
@@Jaxdog309 Thank you!!
Great video. 99% of amateur golfers wouldn't know if a ball is out of balance or not so the guys comment is moot.
@@jerrywoods4845 Thank you for watching!
No matter if it’s balls, clubs, swing aids…whatever, do what you do and let the chips fall where they may. We have the choice to watch or not. As long as you are honest to you, everything will be fine.
Thank you so much!
Really like how you trigger your swing with a knee flex. I usually stand there like a statue and have tried different methods but they never stick.

Did you ever work in the pro shop at La Costa?
@@JonHolland-e1w No, I've never heard of it. What state is it in?

That comment's made by an inexpert golfer and it's very easy to refute:
1. Premium balls have been found less balanced per box than cheap balls as they showed on a YT video regarding the issue where they found 3 balls big time out-of-wack in a dozen box. Out of a $55 box of 12 there were $4.5ea x 3 = $14 bucks wasted.
This video is even worse! ua-cam.com/video/Zbl0-gONBT4/v-deo.html
That's why Bryson Dechambeau put ever ball he uses in water to check if they're in balance due to the positioning of the inner core. More over, they found out there's no perfect ball! ua-cam.com/video/4FWTH2KfymQ/v-deo.html
2. Reason? They most are 3 to 5-piece built, hence more chances of manufacturing error
3. 2-piece balls are way more simple to manufacture with less parts to deal with, and not all, but most of them are built by the same company that sell the premium ones
Checking Srixons: ua-cam.com/video/Q8jBDnnqi3Q/v-deo.html
Thank you so much! I may talk about this in a video.
Negative UA-cam comments are like a backyard lawn. You can tend it, and be meticulous… but you’re always gonna have some weeds no matter what.

Just saying how do we know that person even knows what they’re talking about🤷🏾♂️
Thank you!
You gotta love when they say "I love ya man" with their lips, but then basically demonstrate how they hate you haha 😅
Exactly that!!!
This person is crazy if they think only $50-60 dollar golf balls are perfect. For the everyday player there are plenty of $30-35 dollar golf balls that are perfectly balanced and centered.
Thank you!
Thank you for watching!
Thank you so much!
The only golfers I dislike are elitist golfers who think they know everything. You're reviews are for us, average golfers who love the game and our goal is to break 90 and at least once per summer break 80. I like how you compare your results to the Prov 1.
I appreciate you!
There's a lot of faulty info in golf, but never at this channel!
Thank you so much!
It might be easier to comment on that guys post if he learned English grammar first.
This made me smile. 😁
Few people I play with hit the same ball. I feel your reviews are based on your swing and the way you play. My swing and the courses I play are different. I have different needs in a golf ball than you. Your reviews are for
information only. If someone does not like one of your videos, don't watch.
I agree!
I don’t know a more accurate ball test than actually playing a round with it. You are making real world test, not testing the manufacturers QC!
@@survivinwithrahlowb8622 Exactly!!
