There's also one potential problem we might have when playing these tanks which QB forgot to mention: Their shells are not marked as larger caliber (160-170mm), they're marked as 85 or 100mm, which might reduce the chance of players overmatching lightly armored plates in a game. For example, EBR has 40mm front plate, T-100 lt has 40mm side plate and Manticore has 30mm side, if Blyskawica is firing at these plate and they didn't fix the overmatching issue, it's gonna bounce and auto ricochet at awkward angles.
i think its supposed to be the lower caliber since the actual bullet itself is only the smaller part, while the larger caliber number is the caliber of the gun including the star flairs. seems like a pretty interesting drawback
@QuickyBaby track upgrades are very important because they reduce terrain resistances and dispersion while moving. Sometimes they also increase track health. Most of the time track upgrades are actually more influential than engine upgrades. Of course it's different for each tank though

What about the HE round. I mean it's not great pen at 80mm, but at 800m/s for tier 8, and then 1000m/s for 9 and 10, when you can maintain that that super high alpha and dmp, with decent shell velocity. It will be a nightmare for lightly armored tanks. Delete a Leo at 500m in like 3 shells.
if you go all out with Equipment on this thing, you can get an insane 4,963.38 DPM with it, and it has a 9.67 second reload, which is INSANE for that amount of damage in close quarters! QB chose the Upgraded Bounty Vents, wich got it to 4,943.04 with 9.71 second reload. this thing on maps where it can use the Gun Depression by pushing up against cover like on Himmelsdorf by Banana Street is gonna be a NIGHTMARE since the weakspot is on the LEFT of the tank, making it nearly impossible to take it on there without loading only gold... this thing is gonna be massacring everything on smaller maps with any sort of low cover for it to utilize...
the moment they will add a line made purely out of premium tanks. Damn, maybe I shouldn't be mentioning that, because that sounds like something WG would really do lol.
I found the Soviet mediums to be pretty nice all in all as I went for the k91. French heavies are also pretty good each tier, especially once you get the top engines on them
@@stolfygaming the single shot ones? I believe they are, but I stuggle with 65t. Stock gun is bad, stock engine is weak, you need to research a pointless gun before you can get the better turret (you need tracks or use one of your slots) and only then can you research the good gun. All in all, you need to get around 100k exp just to get it to acceptable levels, then you need a ton of exp for the tier 9. The tier 9 is really good even from stock. But is it worth the pain?
I can't get my head round the the damage capability over the distance. It says 800-300. So I assume that 800hp will be dealt at close quarters, up to 50 metres. Then only 300hp will be dealt at long range at 500 metres. The shell velocity of the shell is 2000 metres per second. The length of time over distances is 100 metres - 0.05s, 200 metres - 0.1s, 300 metres - 0.15, 400 metres - 0.2s and 500 metres - 0.25s. To hit a target at 500 metres it would take the shell just 0.25 seconds from being fired to hitting the target. How does the damage drop so rapidly in such a short time?
Does the dmg dealt scale up the closer you hit your targets? Like if you hit someone at say 300m with the tier 8, will that do more than 400 dmg but less than 600? Or does it do 400 dmg all the way until you shoot at someone who is 50m or less from you?
I love how they nerf the minotauro's armor, but then bring this into the game. It practically has the same kind of armor that minotauro used to have lol
Are there any information out yet, about how the penetration drop-off works? Linear drop-off or exponential? QB mentions their high brawl potential and that 300dmg on 500m is weak... When I consider medium TD battle distances between 2-300m, it wil still come done to decent alpha hits I guess. The gun shooting mail boxes is hilarious though... can we have a visual mod for that? xD But what I already see is that working that gun-arc in close combat will be frustrating as hell. I bet we will hear all streamers mentioning that when trying that vehicle.
I love how QB keeps talking about this 500m range, but that would be a complete blind fire shot with a target that is out of your render distance, which I do fire and hit etc but only rather randomly, most battles in the game are done at ranges of 400m or less, and most maps/terrain are very limiting on those long range shots.
I will be playing these tanks but it's just as well that there are no keepers until you get to Tier-VIII seeing, as I don't have a lot of Polish crew loitering around the barracks.
I have a feeling people will initially play this like the obj268/4, slap on a bond turbo and you have 55t with 200mm of frontal armor rolling at 51km. You then have a gun that deal 800dmg every 9.7 seconds.
Considering it looks like a 268, acts like one at close range and yet has 268/4 armour...interesting for sure(Really looks like a polish 268 without the 4)
IMHO they should all have 400damage at 500m, then just increase close range damage... Going down in damage as you go up the tiers seems a bit weird and... Unnecessary, just increasing close damage is enough to prove the point. 400damage at 500m at tier 10 would still only be 1750dpm, so that's still low enough to discourage people from even trying to snipe with it, but doesn't make it completely useless at it if it has to do it.
Tier 8+ they are just brawlers when top tier. This branch will just get punished a lot more for being bottom tier without being able to snipe and not loss all your alpha
How does the damage drop over distance? As far as i understand it, below 50 m its the max alpha dmg (on tier X 800). Does the dmg drop immedeatly on 300 dmg if its at 51 m or does it lower linear or in certain steps. For example what is the damage at 100 m, at 200 m or at 350 m distance? My second question is, what calibre is the shell ,is there a difference because they are subcalibre shells? And at the end a funfact: Modern Tank APFSDS rounds have a velocity of around 1700 m/s, so why on earth does this tank have such a high shell velocity.
Its a made up tank, so real life things dont afect it. ( it is shooting squares and stars ). also it does drop off on stages, someting like 50-100-150-200 ets.
The short bit of testing I saw on stream seems to indicate linear drop off over the min and max distance in addition to the usual rng rolls. The game gives you an indication on the HUD for the average damage you will do when you aim at an enemy tank. According to tanks gg at least the caliber seems to take into account the smaller diameter for overmatching etc. but I've yet to see if that is the case in game.
Looks like a monster at Facehugging and brawling in cities. I mean how many time do you guys get in each others face? Much often than one would realized especialy on certain maps. Especially in the Heavy Tank lanes where this gun would dish out 700+Dmg with that DPM.
@quickybaby would u ever do a master class of the T57 heavy I'm a casual player but id love all the tips and tricks on how to play the tank more competitively even though it isn't that competitive
Is there a newer review of this line? Shows how misjudged tanks can be. The so called "disappointing" Gowika's a little monster at T7. Apart from the alpha QB does actually mention, it has very useful armor too. One of the most fun TDs I've 3 marked. Just not sure to skip the T8 or not. 🤔
The problem with tank destroyers is that there is one hiding in every bush in the game, and they are waaaay op. WG must limit tankdestroyers per game! Right now I get games with 7-9 td´s every fluffing game.
I still dont think dmg drop off from distance is a good idea. Instead they should make the penetration at close range more like a gold round. And at 500m the pen is less then average from it same tier TD. As for the damage made it normal like every other tanks. It made more logical sense imo.
How a gun can have different calibres at the same time? The shells can be smaller than the gun barrel diametre but I dont understand the logic of this mechanic. The lower damage makes sense as with distance a shell loses energy
Why downplay the tier 5 as subpar, things scarier than most tech tree tanks with 240 alpha damage (150 pen) with an 8 second reload. Probably not better than heavies overall but it has an upper hull armor of 100mm, not bad compared to a KV-1 turret at 110mm. Dpm of KV-1 is 2000, 200 more than the polish td. However the standard pen is 10mm less than the KV-1’s APCR at 160 pen, so no need to spam gold. Also is fast on paper with a speed 50km.

tier IX: Gonkiewicza - gɔnkʲɛvʲiʈ͡ʂa (k like c in scam, i like ea in eat, w like v in vile, cz like ch in child) - name after the author's surname
tier X: Błyskawica - bwɨskavʲit͡sa (ł like w in way, y like i in mill, w like v in vile, c like ts in cats) - means lightning
Please remember that none of these tanks actually existed.
Zadymka is actually a blizzard or snowstorm. Also no one really knows how to read phonetic alphabet
I guarantee you, people will still redline camp in this thing and say how garbage it's alpha is.
under the ammo it seems to count as the smaller number in the gun name. For example the tier 10 is a measly 85mm gun so overmatching with these tanks are going to not really exist
Question!: How do you go into free cam mode?
Read is like this: Burza = Boojah = storm 😅 Greetings from Wroclaw = Wrotzlove, Poland
Burza is not pronounced like Boojah nor Wrocław like Wrotzlove
I’ve checked this with my English and Americans friends. Both ware very close but, You are right, not identical 😊 what is Your option? I would love to know to make me better 💪
WG:
Putting in new hull down monsters with new alpha dmg and dpm records.
Also WG:
Nerfing the Minotauro.
I just built my T5 TD for ramming and drive by shot gunning lol. Works most of the time 😂
Litterally my plan for the whole branch
is there no t8 premium of these
For me these tanks' dpms should be viewed as the middle stat/damage between 50 and 500 meters
A sniper build with that Shell velocity might be very interesting
RE: T9 - I'll take my 750 all the time damage with my T95. Remember that the falloff means that at 100m, you're already doing 750 damage.
Whats the DPM at 100 meters?
wait so what is their damage in between 50 and 500 meters?
if you go all out with Equipment on this thing, you can get an insane 4,963.38 DPM with it, and it has a 9.67 second reload, which is INSANE for that amount of damage in close quarters!
I knew they nerf Minotauro for reasons, here comes the reason, a new hulldown TD with better gun.
So pretty much the only decent vehicles in this line are the tiers 8-10. When will WG add a line in which ALL of the tanks are not a pain to play??
the moment they will add a line made purely out of premium tanks.
Its dynamic
50 meters is maximum damage.
From there damage reduces the further away you are.
It is a linear equation.
The gun shooting mail boxes is hilarious though... can we have a visual mod for that? xD
But what I already see is that working that gun-arc in close combat will be frustrating as hell. I bet we will hear all streamers mentioning that when trying that vehicle.
I don't see how Vents will be necessary on this tank... but anyway, i'll go to T9 and stop the count ! Seems better than T10.
Because 25TP is the only somewhat playable MT you must play 14TP. :D
Just re-roll daily missions untill you get blueprints.
I recommend 2 repair kits on all vehicles like this.
I love your tong breaking on polish language :D Not so accurate in a few ocasions but still :D Have a great weekend :)
When will be info about premium of this line?
You really think you're gonna notice your 35,000 kg tank is 29 kg heavier because of a radio?
Than now why we play with obj 268 line or wz td line? A lot of this tanks had better armor, gun, mobility than the other close combat tds.
11.830 ... thanks, that's what main info I was looking for ; )
If anything I think it highlights once again how the badger needs a nerf, the whole line needs a nerf
Looks like a monster at Facehugging and brawling in cities.
I mean how many time do you guys get in each others face? Much often than one would realized especialy on certain maps.
Especially in the Heavy Tank lanes where this gun would dish out 700+Dmg with that DPM.
@quickybaby would u ever do a master class of the T57 heavy I'm a casual player but id love all the tips and tricks on how to play the tank more competitively even though it isn't that competitive
basically designed to get up front and nasty and not snipe
When do these tds appear?, april?
Is there a newer review of this line? Shows how misjudged tanks can be. The so called "disappointing" Gowika's a little monster at T7. Apart from the alpha QB does actually mention, it has very useful armor too. One of the most fun TDs I've 3 marked. Just not sure to skip the T8 or not. 🤔
The new Polish top TD is going to be CW meta
4:35 more like a jagtiger tbh
The problem with tank destroyers is that there is one hiding in every bush in the game, and they are waaaay op. WG must limit tankdestroyers per game! Right now I get games with 7-9 td´s every fluffing game.
All these SU-122-54 imposters have me wondering when it'll be put back in the game as a collector's vehicle
That Tier X tank has been reaking havoc on the test server!
These tanks look like something I would make in sprocket
Starting at T5 from the T4?!?! The first preview showed it started off the 25TP. Guess the 12K I saved up on the 25TP is worthless.
yes because you rush like moron
Thumbnail: *New polish destroyers*
Me: Why did they add DD line in a tank game?
Hungarian tanks when 😭
Edit: we will probably have laser shooting levitating tanks before a hungarian tech tree
Finally some new interesting content from WG
I still dont think dmg drop off from distance is a good idea. Instead they should make the penetration at close range more like a gold round. And at 500m the pen is less then average from it same tier TD. As for the damage made it normal like every other tanks. It made more logical sense imo.
Does anyone know, are there real projects in this line up or its all WG fantasy vehicles?
all WG fantasy until they prove otherwise, which they never do
i think their purpose is to be snipers early game, then once the enemy has been weakened to go in for the biff mid to late game.
This tank is like auto-preloader, make you have illusion of choice: fire now or go closer to fire? headache...
How a gun can have different calibres at the same time?
The shells can be smaller than the gun barrel diametre but I dont understand the logic of this mechanic. The lower damage makes sense as with distance a shell loses energy
16:39 - su122-54? :-)
