Be careful, and don't over do it. I just messed up my blades. I grinned them too much and they stared to catch the top cover that you touch to your face. Not a big deal. I spent $30 and just bought new electric razor. My old one was at least 10 years old.

The sound is a little low, good idea even though I was hearing you at 80 percent volume on my laptop.

Does it matter if you go clock wise or counterclock wise when sharpening?..ive watch three of these videos and no one mentions it

Don't try too hard. After my first try it was better. After second time I wanted to sharpen them I went too far and messed it up.

What direction did you go?? Seems like the blade direction was the opposite way.

If I send you 9 total , how much will it cost because I tried your method and it didn’t work well. On the other hand why will I send it there if it won’t work well also?

#400 grit paper is a great start. Follow it up by using #600 grit and then #800 grit paper. Wash the blades off with water and a little detergent after each paper. The blades will work better than just using #400......

He is using totally wrong grit sandpaper. Must use 1500 grit paper, and only about 10 cicles for left rotation, 10 circles right rotation, and it is done. Use minimum pressure. His method will destroy your blades. Be careful. Rather use a fine metal paste and a mirror and you will get perfect results

Will only work with older style blades. Most new shavers have a slightly round blade profile, so you can't hone it flat. You can buy a tool for the new shavers to sharpen them, see my video review here:ua-cam.com/video/kxdysOEUAPU/v-deo.html

@@phsx2890 look at the outer metal ring of the shaver, the flat profile will tell you .

I would not recommend this method. The blade and the foil need to be matched, like a pair of scissors. You change the geometry of one (the blade) without without matching the other (the foil) you will have problems. It may not cut, it may not even spin. You're better off buying a new set of blades and foils. About one-third the price of replacing the razor. And 400 is awfully aggressive.
