How to use Cypcut Edge seek function (English)

- Machine being used is a bescutter 4'x4' 500 watt fiber laser machine.
Settings may need to be adjusted for larger machines or different capacitance sensors. If you are using small plates you would likely want to reduce the sheet size to something close to what you are using.

Nice! I have seen the function there but never taken the time to mess with it. I don't do alot of production cutting, so its just not been a big issue, but seems to work good so I will set it up!
Yeah, a big thing is it can correct for angled sheets so you can get closer to the edge of a sheet with a part with a little less adjusting. We tried setting the plate size fairly small and it still worked ok, so it could be adjusted to more fully use square drops.. My shop is the opposite with almost everything being production work making my own products, no custom work. Which is why there really is no contact information on my videos, I just do these for fun.

Sir, do you know the code for unlocking advanced options in the edge seek? My machine doesn't want to measure with precision, so I was hoping that I could set up something there.

Cypcut is a software hardware combination. You can't just install it.

@@nickthedane1 or he didn't have the head over the material. I have my edge seek set to run slower than the factory settings, that way I have a chance to stop the machine.

Hi 👋 can you download cypcut on a separate pc and do all the work with nesting and then just upload it to the laser machine ?
So yes and no.. You can do most of it on a separate PC, but you would still want to load your cut parameters on the laser, that way any small changes can be saved on the laser.. So on my office PC the layers are set with the laser power at 0% that way if I forget nothing bad happens, it just doesn't cut.
