Hi mate, the image with smooth sky and clear water is the best one.....
Hi Keith hope you're well. Definitely looked a bit rough out there, I agree with you on this one, fast water slow clouds. The movement in the water adds to the overall story of a blustery day on the moors.
Stay safe Jon and Karen
Hi Jon, hope you are both well and thanks for commenting, I can see positive is all the images to be fair but yeah definitely my favourite edit.
Great video Keith. I think either B or C works for me 😁 perhaps C as everything matches an eerie narrative with the cross you selected as a subject.
Thanks Keith, C is a great image. I see why people are selecting it as the winner.
Nice video Keith, interesting comparison as they all offer something. Can’t decide which one for me but all 👌👍
Lovely shots mate, nice process as well replacing the Sky... I've been using the Motion Blur within Photoshop of late, where I've wanted to create that Long Exposure effect with the clouds, cheating I know...
Cheers mate. Not cheating at all, it’s using what tools are available to us, you could argue that any aid is cheating like a tripod or nd filter. We have the tools to use in whatever creative way necessary.
Hi Keith. I really like C mate. But good idea about swapping the sky. Something I not thought about. I off soon to practice my long exposure photography and going to make a video while doing so. Do love your editing skills. Something I need to practice still. Take care mate, shawn.
Hey Shawn , thanks mate C is a good image, I like playing around with images to see how they can be improved, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t. Work on something little at a time, there’s a lot of editing you can do and can become overwhelming, I started out with clone stamp tool to remove unwanted images and then moved on to a little dodge and burn, each little bit all adds up.
Look forward to seeing your long exposure video.
For me it would be either B or D, I like the experimenting but A and C look weird to me, like something is wrong..... Probably not to anyone who doesn't know how it works but still.....
That makes sense, it’s a bit of an abomination of an image blended together lol. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Greetings Keith, thank you for this little video. I like the image of D.
Thanks for your thoughts on this one Jeff. Mine was A although I liked them all
