- Today AC is making a one part silicone mold using Oomoo 30. With this mold you can cast and reproduce multiple resin mini figures, and I demonstrate how to get it done! For more insight and tutorials, behind the scenes and to help the channel grow join my Patreon at / actoydesign .

Adam, you inspire me. Outstanding video. And this is your FIRST official UA-cam tutorial video? Dang, son.
You got me wanting to step it up with some neat transitions and music, too. I can't compete with the rugged leading-man looks and all, but I can start growing a beard. Transitions, music, beard. Thank you, my friend!
TCM, I can't tell you how honored and flattered I am that the first comment on my first video on my first UA-cam is from you. You inspired me to do this. You are the Air in my Raiders and the Adventure in my People. Thank you, my friend. AC
Crafsman, you rock! Keep on steady rockin'.
Hey Crafsman! I'm from the future and you DID grow a quarantine beard! You accomplished this goal
Came here after The Crafsman posted it on his Facebook page.
Man, thanks for coming over, Victor! And how about that Crafsman?
Came here by way of The Crafsman as well. Enjoyed the video, keep it up and I look forward to seeing more of your work.
Thanks so much! He's a good friend.
If I were you I would prepare myself for a whole lot of love and a few hundred and then thousand subscribers. Great video, UA-cam needs more of you!
You flatter me, my friend! Thanks so much!
This is a fascinating watch...great to see how this process works
Thanks for stopping by!
Well done. You make it look easy
Thanks so much, David! 8 hours of editing, but I'm sure I'll get the hang of it.
Omg Ghostbusters 😂 this was such an enjoyable watch & I learned something!
Lance! I'm glad, man. Thanks for the love. Mooge says hi!
Thanks for this tutorial, it really helped!
Glad you liked it! I've got another in the works for my new maba.
Extremely Talented you are, with the ways of the force! 😁
It's strong in my family. My dog has it. I have it. My... hotdog vendor down the street has it.
Yes agreed only some possess this definitive skillset but those that do like Scooby Dooby Doo! 🤣
Awesome
Came here via the Craftsman. Liked what I saw in a non binary way ;-)
Dude, this really helps a lot. Thank you.
Thank you, Charlie! I appreciate the feedback 🤙
@@AdamCrohn These may seem like basic steps, but for dummies like me, it helps a lot. Do you think you could provide some kind of shopping list somehow?
@@ANIMUS97 Absolutely! If you check the show notes on this video I have a list of all the links to what I use. I'll have these affiliate links in all my videos moving forward. I also provide tons of tips on my Patreon. Thanks again, Charlie! ua-cam.com/video/ZGrSWHKuM1w/v-deo.html
You look great
That's an awesome tune you got going on back there. Is that your own stuff? This is really cool stuff by the way.
Thanks Laura! UA-cam has a music library of royalty free tunes. It's great!
Can I use air dry clay or sculpey polymer?
Your tutorials are everything I was looking for in one place! Super well explained, well done, and I love Hall and Oates btw, I got almost all their LPs. Thanks so much for sharing this skills mate!
Regarding this video, I just have one question.
What's the main differences between/benefits a one part mold vs a two part mold? Regards!
Awesome! Thanks for being here. The 2 part mold gives you more control, less bubbles, and leaves less up to chance. Plus you can add vents. I go into deeper detail on all my work in my Patreon, if interested!
@@AdamCrohn Excellent! I will check it out and support. Thanks for the answer!
I wonder how many models can be taken with one silicone mould
As long as you use some kind of mold release, I usually get around 20.
@@AdamCrohn After making 20 copies, what are the problems with the silicone mold?
@@zekeriyaatilgan521 The mold will start to tear and stick to the resin. It'll also get ridged.
I don't use any mold release unless it's a two part mold
