Sri Lanka was the first country that my girlfriend and I traveled to and it is the reason we travel as much as possible now
I think it will always be my favourite country because it was the place that opened our eyes to the fact that the world is full of different and wonderful cultures.

Sri Lanka is one of my top destinations to visit. I have been to Sri Lanka three times and never been disappointed. People are so friendly and helpful. Being a history nerd I loved those ancient cities. Those sandy beaches are to die for. Looking forward to visit again!

we don't have any covid patient from the country so far until now since last month. so hopefully the country will open doors for travelling too.
Lets hope Sri Lanka will less cases. I really regret not going there before. Because the website of the airlines company kept failing when i was booking the flight.

Even though I am Sri Lanka I bought your guide. It's very useful. I went with my adult sons and they too enjoyed Sri Lanka. Only one bus journey was a bit busy and sardine packed. I didn't have a problem but my 19 year old was a little to posh to be squashed. There was also a funny moment when my cash kept popping out of my pockets and I was told off by a gentleman who ,quite rightly, was critical of me.

" Ayubowan" , As a Hotelier what i admire the most is foreigners, they traveled all the way from different countries to explore our beautiful motherland. Looking after them well with our great hospitality attitude is our responsibility. They TRUST us.... and this bond will never end. and we are Sri Lankans.
Good stuff. The south coast is a good destination for beaches from Oct to Feb; The east cost during our (Jun to Sept) summer months. It is to do with the two monsoon seasons: The south-western monsoon brings rain to the south-west of Sri Lanka between May and September, while the dry season in this region runs from December to March. In the north and eastern coastal regions of the country, the weather is influenced by the north-eastern monsoon, which brings wind and rain between October and January, and drier weather between May and September.
I am proud to be a Sri Lankan. And our country have many beautiful places. So visit again and have a fun. Sri Lanka is the best.

I really liked this video because it captured the real beauty of Sri Lanka. I'm Sri Lankan and its really hard being away from home and the pandemic makes it worse. I was supposed to go to Sri Lanka this June because of school holidays, but now because of the pandemic, I feel like I will never get to see my family again. watching this video made me feel like I wasn't that far from home and I'm glad you captured so many wonderful things about my motherland, unlike most youtubers🙄 so I would like to thank you for that. so I wish you a wonderful and prosperous life, and I also hope you stay safe in these tough times💖
I would recommend Galle, when you are there next time, I lived there when I was little and used to go to a place called Galle fort, really nice historic area. Very scenic and good for tourists

You can get tickets for the reserved carriages in trains and you won't have to worry about catching a seat. In the newer train models, even the third class reserved carriage is incredibly relaxing.
