Dear Julie, I'm sure other subscribers have said this to you already in some form or other, but I would like to say it too. I think you have no idea what an exceptionally gifted UA-camr you are! 🤗Even when you make it all seem like you're just playing with your tools and materials, there's actually a lot of thought and very precise techniques, which lead to very eye-pleasing results. And the waffle? 😂Well, that is the icing on the cake 😄. I could listen to you for hours, because you have such an amazing way of turning perfectly ordinary or even annoying things into the most surprising and adorable reasons for laughter. Thank you for being YOU! 🤗🤗🤗
I believe you’re my favorite journal artist! I watch a lot of people but I always stop what I’m doing to watch your video. Thank you so much for sharing your talent with us! ❤❤❤
There are a lot if really good crafters on UA-cam but there's only one you! You are a treasure. If I am feeling sad or depressed, I watch a video if yours and I feel relaxed and smile. Thank you Julie.
Dearest Julie, Ive watched many of your videos over and over again. I know you are my favorite person to watch when it comes to junk journals and all other videos you create. You have an amazing personality which adds fun to your content. Your laughter is infectious. You speak of your children and they are so blessed to have you as a Mother. I can see you joking with them too. I just want to thank you for all you do and as a fresh beginner at journaling all together you've taught me so much and i havent even brushed the surface. See you in the next one. One more thing, I live alone and am 67 years young. You bring so much joy to an otherwise lonely day. ❤❤❤
Julie my Husband passed away last night and the only thing remotely keeping me sane is watching you and wishing you were here to make me laugh You have kept me laughing with you for a very long time through all of his sickness I wish I could go to UK sometime to meet you. Honey just thank you so much for being you and please don’t ever stop doing what you do because you have a great gift that needs to be shared with the world. Thank you so much sorry
I'm so sorry to hear that Sheri, my heart goes out to you love. Glad i can do a little bit to help you through this awful time. i've had alot on the past few weeks, but i'm here love and will have more up soon. Sending love and a big hug your way💜💜💜🙏
I got one of those tag topper punches in the mail. I opened it right then. The remaining mail became cannon fodder to the punch. By the time I got back to the house, all my mail looked spiffy. The husband wasn't too happy 😂 It made the bills more palatable, I thought 😂
Julie, I had to hold my breath when you where cutting up the Edith Holden books. Like! The books are hard to come by in America. I love your honesty when you sayyou don't like something and fling it out of your way.
You like to say what a scatterbrain you are, but really, Julie, you’re brilliant. Whenever I want to make something really beautiful and well designed, I always look at your channel. You have a great talent for talking the whole time about your life and things going on around you while at the same time making excellent creations. You are top notch! ❤❤❤
I have been watch/listening to you for a couple months now as I work at home on my computer. I have been meaning to leave a comment for awhile now about how much I enjoy you! I love your voice, your accent, your humor, your down-to-earth attitude. I laugh out loud with you every video! Today’s gem “performing like a man with no arms”. And your follow up “no offense to people with no arms”. I look forward to every new video- Blessings from Oregon, USA
Thank you so much Deanne love😊 my gen z snowflake kids would roll thier eyes at armless comment and if they hear me call them that they may disown me😘🤗💜
Julie, you need a tag line... "Come for the waffles, stay for the crafts!" I LOVE it! Frugal faffer is pretty good too! 😂🤣🤣😂 I love these pockets, especially the tesselations (an excellent word that I had to look up!)... NICELY done! And finally, to answer your question (and lots of people here in the US don't seem to know this), it's kinderGARTEN, with a "T". Seeing that you've got a new vid up always makes me smile! 😁😁😁 Love and hugs, MK 🤗❤️🌵❤️🤗
Tesselations, i learned that one young so can remember it, not sure about anything i learned last week though😘 Thanks MK i thought it had a T. I watch a channel called lost in the pond. A british bloke living in the US who makes viedeos about the differences and he said it woth a pronounced T. thanks as always lovely🤗💜
Wildly entertaining with a stunning end result! New life goal unlocked: Accumulate loads of Edith Holden scraps (instead of hoarding the books untouched). The white butterfly was my favorite! Thank you for this imaginative project!
Love this project ❤❤and yes- what do people think of this craft?? I - and you too and everybody else who craft - we don’t care. It’s as simple as that. We do it because we LOVE it and we can. 🤣It keps me happy & sane for sure 😅😅🥳 and you know what, now I need a hexagonpunch 🫣🤭🤭
Oh my gosh these are fabulous! All my cares and woes fly out the window when watching and listening to one of your videos!!!! Thank you for all you offer!
Hi Julie 💕 This was a super fun project, love you patchwork pockets & tags. So enjoy your wonderful company, thanks for sharing. Hope today finds you all doing well, take good care. 🤗Big hugs
These pocket tags are very prety I love the hexagons. They remind me of a quilt. I like the large pieces that are left from the 12x12 papers. Well Julie, what a lovely video, you certainly make me happy with your faffing…as I have moved to Canada from UK it is nice to listen to your accent, love it, thank you for being so natural and yourself. 🥰🌷❤️🌺
Thank you for making it so lovely to follow. I now have a load of scraps that don't need to be wasted. Thank you. Don't ever doubt yourself. You're so precious, and really lift my spirits especially after losing mum last year. Haven’t been myself since but im learning to smile again and love listening to you and being inspired to use junk journalling to just 'do me' x
Hello Julie, lovely just lovely wonderful Tags! I actually did a birthday card for my hubby with the same layout. Oh and I for California and in my late 50's and I always thought it was Kindergarden! I looked it up and it is Kindergarten with a t, go figure lol😂 thank you for all you put out there for us your wonderful!
If it makes you feel better i always thought it was kindergarden until i heard it with a T recently. The blame i think lies with your old governor and his 'Kndergarden Kop' film😘🤗💜
Hi Julie, everytime you say wee, it makes me smile 😊 and the waffle is a delight. When I need to knowvthat craftingbis a joy, you are there. 🎉. Robyn in New Zealand 🇳🇿
I am fighting a migraine but I knew you would cheer me up! These are fabulous! I don’t have a hexagon punch, but if I see one in the thrift, I will pick it up for sure. These are adorable! Hugs to Nala 🤗❤️
Great wee projects. I just came from watching a different take on library pockets. It's always good to compare different takes on all these useful wee things! I can see how the pockets could come out of a masterboard too, like your tags did, especially if we don't have those shaped punches. Thanks Julie, it was fun popping in for a visit 🥰
Nothing better than a fresh egg. Our landlord has chickens, so we always have plenty. And they love scraps. Win, win. I’m sitting here making cards. Have an order for 10 and have put it off. Procrastination doesn’t buy new craft supplies. Like the project. Have a good week and making my project go easier with your stories and laughter.
I love these tag pockets, Julie. Great idea! And I thoroughly enjoyed the butterfly fest.!! 😂 You are awesome, I adore your sense of humor!! Thank you for sharing. ❤
As soon as you mentioned Tracie Fox's botanical tags, I went to Esty and purchased them. I had been meaning to buy them earlier but I forgot and ordered something else. I love the tags and pockets you made. You always make nice things. I have a several of your projects on my list of things to make. Hexagons - when i was much younger, I wanted to join a quilting group. They were the type that believed in doing things the traditional way. If you want to learn to quilt, you have to learn to make templates and the hexagon was the one you started with. I was very careful making a template but by the third round, it was so off, there was no point in continuing. I didn't get back into quilting until I started working at a quilt store. LOL
That reminds me of when i was at school and we did some patchwork, mine was horrendous😅 There are just too many yummy labels in tracies shop, i can see how you forgot why you were there😁🤗💜
Miss Julie, as always you are so fantastic with all your projects, and I love the idea of the hexagon. And you always make them look so beautiful. Love how you wafflen on and such. You always put a smile on my face when I'm watching your videos. Thank you for sharing and God Bless you and your family. 🥰💖💖💖💖💖👍👍👍👍👍🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟(🌹🐞🦂🌵)
Hi Julie! I just love watching your videos! Not only do you create beautiful crafts you are so funny! You had me laughing out loud when you said you and your daughter talk to the chickens 😂🤣😂. I wish I had a neighbor like you 🤣. These pocket tags are beautiful, love the hexagon punch, great effect! 🌻
Morning Julie. Watching you at breakfast time .Yes I slept in. 😂Looks like you've dicovered patchwork. I have done this exact thing with fabric. I love it. It's much quicker with paper, not days and days of sewing. 😂 I just had a mental picture of you hanging out of a window making chicken noises. 🐣😂.Val.🐨 💟
Bock bock🐔 yes i remember doing it at schoool, it was a wonky mess, put me off sewing for quite a while😅 Thankfully my mum taught me plenty of sewing tips and cheats😁🤗💜
Julie you are hilarious. I just love watching you. I laughed so hard at the beginning of the video when you threw your glue topper I think it was. Keep doing you because I love everything you make and your personality is the cherry on top .. huge hugs🩷🩷🩷
That was the cry throughout the house who has the big scissors it made me laugh when you said that the other one was my mom was always saying don't touch my sewing scissors well I guess the important thing as you're having fun the important thing is you're having fun anyway thank you for the fun experience thank you for the fun experience today and it's important that you have fun even if it even if it's something the size of a tiny little hole and you have to cut a little circle and you're having fun that's all that matters
That was a great video. I love the idea of using hexagons as a background. It gives such a nice look. You are so much fun to watch. I really look forward to your videos. Thank you for sharing your work with us. 😊❤
Thanks lovely☺️Nala is a crazy cat. While i was out yesterday she brought a mouse in for my eldest daughter. When i got home she brought me a pink sparkly pom pom, i guess she loves me the best😺🤗💜
Good morning Julie and family. Thanks for the great video! I really enjoyed it. Now that I've finally been able to watch it all the way through. We're getting a new roof, windows, and HVAC, and oh my goodness, the dust and upheaval my home is a mess, to say the least. Not that Im Mrs spick and span usually but wow has this been an experience. Tho i am extremely grateful to finally be here .. your video was a welcome distraction. I live in California, and poppies are our state flower. My daughter and I have matching wrist tattoos of one. Hope all is well with you and yours. Thanks for listening, lol. Have a great day today 💚
Frugal faffer!🤣🤣🤣 I love that. Oh how I've missed you. I think I have a comment I need to respond to you but I didn't know where it is. I've had a lot going on, I was sick for a few weeks and then went to see my grandkids for a week. Today I thought I haven't seen anything come in from Julie so I went to your page and I've missed several videos. Dang you tube hasn't sent me the notification even though I have everything turned on. So I'm starting with the most recent and I'll make my way through the older ones as time allows. Appreciate you Julie!
Good afternoon Julie 🤗. Love ❤️ your channel and your laugh 🤭. I’ve done these as well and ran them through an embossing folder. Not only is it pretty, but also squished the hexagons on the card stock for a nice hold. 🙂. Hugs 🤗 from North Carolina USA 🇺🇸
Julie, you are one of the first UA-cam craft creators that I found. I continue to enjoy your channel. I love your teaching. It is so FUN to watch you. I always get a laugh too. Thank you for being you.
That was wonderful! Thank you for the laughter, for your great sense of humor and for being an amazing person. Much love to you! You are such great company and I always look forward to your videos with anticipation. Love the pockets they turned out lovely. 🤗
It took me a long time to watch this video, I'm so glad I finished it. I got about 100 packages of rick rack at a rummage sale. I have tried and don't like how I was trying to use it. Now I love it on tags like you do it. Thank you Julie.
Love the hexagon collage! It would be great for a bee journal (honeycomb) or a sewing journal (quilt), as well. Always enjoy listening to you faffing and whee-ing while crafting beautiful things.😀❤
Julie, hi there Sweet Woman! I have found something wonderful. I am in the process of packing to move (heaven help me) and so ordered some packing materials from Uncle Amie. You may have seen this paper or already have some, but check out Elementree Packing Paper Sheets, 1500 count, fan-fold #35 kraft paper , 11 inch perforations, 11 x 14.5, though if you needed more than the 14.5 the perforations don't show very much. AMAZON CHARGES $32.99, so 2 cents a sheet. What a deal! I hope your day is going well. It's a beautiful spring day here. Lots of flowers out, 70 degrees, breezy. Take care. Keep up the good work! ❤ Kathleen in Little Rock in

I like the large pieces that are left from the 12x12 papers. I call them cutoff's cause they are way to big to be called a scrap
I wont watch any channel if the owner thinks that thier way is the only way. The one thing that I love about making junk journals and the ephemera is that there are no rules !! ❤❤

My mum was exactly the same and i am now. I protect my Tim Holtz scissors like they are my first born😅
thanks lovely, glad you had fun watching🤗💜

❤❤❤
Hi Julie, Love your poppy taggy things.
Thanks Wanda love 😊🤗💜
Such a cute idea Julie I love them. Thank you so much for sharing!!!
You're welcome Tina love😊🤗💜
Julie this video was just brilliant. Love this idea. TFS🌴💕
So glad you enjoyed it Annette, thanks love😊🤗💜
We have free range chickens around us in the RV park where we’re staying in Yuma Az. Anyways, my husband talks to the chickens too.
I get more sense out of the chickens than the kids sometimes teresa😘 how lovely to have them free range🤗💜
Julie, you are one of the first UA-cam craft creators that I found. I continue to enjoy your channel. I love your teaching. It is so FUN to watch you. I always get a laugh too. Thank you for being you.
Had to go see kitty in the box . How adorable
She made a few more adjustments and it's barely holding together😅🤗💜
@@CameliaCraftsDesignshey, she’s happy, that’s all that matters lol 😂
That was wonderful! Thank you for the laughter, for your great sense of humor and for being an amazing person. Much love to you! You are such great company and I always look forward to your videos with anticipation. Love the pockets they turned out lovely. 🤗
Thanks Keren love 😊🤗💜
It took me a long time to watch this video, I'm so glad I finished it. I got about 100 packages of rick rack at a rummage sale. I have tried and don't like how I was trying to use it. Now I love it on tags like you do it. Thank you Julie.
Lovely tags and pockets. I love your style.
I love the hexagon idea,
Thanks so much 😁🤗💜
Love the hexagon collage! It would be great for a bee journal (honeycomb) or a sewing journal (quilt), as well. Always enjoy listening to you faffing and whee-ing while crafting beautiful things.😀❤
I still remember doing patchwork in school, thanks Lorna love🤗💜
