Chiken! Itza xD! i know for many people is hard to pronounce any way is hilarious. "Huitzilopochtli" is the most fun word to listen from youtubers. Great vid btb, thx for the tips
I just watched all your Civ 6 videos while downloading the game. They were very informative and I can only imagine how helpful they'll be when I jump into the game. Thank you for taking the time to create them.
In addition on the first tip. When you, for example, destroy an enemy city near one of yours, ok all improvements are destroyed with the city but if you check the citizen management sometimes it happen that some tiles have "swap" on it from the old owner, if you don't click on it those tiles remains unused.
Been playing civ 6 for over a year now and the holding shift-click on the tech tree is something i wish i knew after all this time... thank you for the tip!
6:01 units are sold for half the amount gold needed to purchase them at that time Which means it may actually be a good idea to sell your builders before using up their last charge in some cases, especially if there is nothing really useful you need them to do. in fact selling 2 builders with 1 build remaining will yield the cost of 1 builder with 3, 4, or even 6 charges depending on your policies and civ Selling Corps (2 units of same type) give you the same amount as the cost to buy them. (Game breaking exploit alert) But more importantly, Armies and Armadas (3 units of the same type later in the game) actually sell for more gold than their cost. which means you can have infinite gold as soon as you complete the research that enables you to produce them. Infinite gold can get you every single great person available, as well as most districts' buildings. That is if you're patient enough to buy and sell like a million armies during your turn.
I think you are the most underrated game tutorial UA-camr- your education-focused tutorials are great. I love that your videos are short, simple, to the point, and as clear as possible. It's helpful to point out even 'obvious' things because even experts can miss details, especially in a game where things aren't portrayed very clearly. I have 60+ hrs into the game, and there were 2 details in this video, and 2 details in the previous video that clarified things about the game that I wasn't completely sure of before. BTW, Chichen Itza (CHEE-chen EET-suh).
Wow, that's high praise. Thanks so much, great to hear you think the tutorials are useful! I love figuring out the mechanics of games (even though I'm bad at playing them). Thanks for the help with the pronunciation as well...although I think we should rename it to Chicken Eatså :p
I agree with the above comments also, being a veteran civ player myself, i found myself making some mistakes in the game, civ 6 also, since it has much changes over the past years. have subscribed and like the channel.
I'm quite sure in a recent update they removed the coin for selling units. You no longer receive any currency when you delete them, but it can still help when you have too many units for your bank account. This was to remove an exploit that allowed player to build units and immediately sell them for profit.
Ehhh, I'm pretty sure several copies of luxury covers more cites... or else my 17 would have been constantly rioting since I only had like 2 entertainment districts ^^ Also my citizens would be getting happier and happing trading away gold to get a 4th silk ^^
I can’t purchase units with gold on my switch.... do you know what might be the problem? (When it Shows units purchasable with gold or faith I can never activate the command) please help
6:15 what about a great person? I once got a great scientist that could only active his skill on a holy site, but none of my cities had one. Can I delete him? Do I get anything in return?
Amenities explanation is a little off. It's true that no city can use more than 1 of a particular type, but that doesn't mean extras are just trade chips. Any extras can be used by 4 more cities that aren't already consuming that type. i.e. 2 amenities of same type = 8 cities can use one, 3 amenities of same type = 12 cities can use one, and so on. Those extras are critical for large civs, and you really have to think about you need and what you have before trading them away.
That is false. You only get 4 amenities per luxury, no matter how many copies you have. So the extras are only good for trading. You can easily verify this yourself too. Just have more than 4 cities, check each city and see how many amenities they get from luxury and then see how many luxuries you have total .
Wayne Christopher - Unfortunately you're wrong. Like in CIV 5 only one copy of a luxury works, otherwise it would not make sense to have different resources in the game, a single type of resource called "luxury" would be enough.
It's Chicken Pizza! :-)

Thanks! Appreciate the kind words! :)
Hear, hear. I'm new to the game and this tutorial made everything makes sense for a beginner.
The luxary resources part really helped me! Thanks :D

Was quite needed as well! Saw some players getting a ridiculous amount of horsemen that way!
Matt Macken what does bank account mean
I am only 1.5 games in and found this useful, a couple of these I have stumbled on, but they are not obvious
Awesome, useful tips
That was some damn fine tips, especially for a newb like myself
Awesome... Thanks a lot..
Thank you 🙏
Very good video man. Informative 👍
The newest patch removed the option to get gold from units when you delete them
You traded some of your resources and gold for silver. What is the point? Do your trade improves?
Really helpfull tips, thanks!
I know this is old. But civ 6 is releasing on ps4 11 22 19 !!!

All I can say is read the manual that comes with the game :)
Elvis Nilsson that is a common misconception you have. The video has it right.
Maybe it's just a Deity setting or they changed it later, havn't played in ages.
Edit: 1 copy of a luxury covered 4 cites when I played.
Is the switch version As good As pc
Im sure you know by now but i loved it on the switch.
Chichen Itza is pronounced Chi as in (Chi)ll, Chen as in (Che)ck, and Itza (It's a)
Thanks

Same here on ps4

You can just build a holy site.

Wayne Christopher the video explained it correctly. I double checked it.
