“The adrenaline rush when hooking into a big salmon is what we all dream of.”
In this episode I fish deep and manage to hook into several amazing fish.
I also bring up the topic, placing out storage tanks / boxes where the fish can rest before being released back into the river. A storage box can be made up with small holes in the front to provide well oxygenated water flowing into the box. Placing a salmon in a storage box makes it possible to monitor the fish bofore deciding whether the fish is in good enough shape for C&R or not. I wish all rivers had storage boxes around in their rivers where C&R is practiced, this to avoid unnecessary harm to the salmon.

Great video I really enjoyed it!! Especially with subtitles otherwise I'd have no clue what you're saying!! Keep up the great videos! Tight lines!! 🎣🤙👌
Thanks! 🙏 I’m also happy that the subtitle is understandable 😎
@@SalmonfishingNorway It definitely is!! Also I was gonna ask how long of a leader do you use? I imagine it's long enough if you're fishing water that clear!! Thanks
@@atlantic_fishing_pursuits it was about 80-100 cm :)
@@SalmonfishingNorway ah cool that's about the same length I use aswell!! I've seen some guys using like 6/8ft leaders and I just couldn't do that it's way too long!! Thanks man and I'm looking forward to you're next video!! 👌🤙🎣
@@atlantic_fishing_pursuits I would prefer a long leader if I could get down with it, but most of the rivers I fish I need to get down quick and I lose drift if I have a long leader. But the fly swims much better with long and thin leaders in my opinion:) thus, for me it’s a trade of between getting down and have a long drift and a nice free swimming fly.
Hi again my friend, thanks for the video. I caught my first Springer of the year on Wednesday and lost another 😁
Fantastic! 🎉 how big was it? And thanks for liking the video 🙏
@@SalmonfishingNorway about 4kg, this a a decent size fish here in Ireland
@@mbal4052 congratz!:) I would say a 4 kg fish is a decent fish in Norway as well! 😊
You win some , you lose more when they are big
Hej Sondre.

Take a look at Frodinflies and Guidline:s channels with Mikael Frödin. Much fishing in Norway, Bolstadelva, Alta, Lerdalselva etc, Russia and ties realty fine flies. Mikael Frödin and Hålan Norling has a near relationship with Guidline.
Yes he have many inspirational videos ☺️
