First Look at Disney100: The Exhibition at The Franklin Institute in Philadelphia Full Presentation

- Officials from the Walt Disney Archives and The Franklin Institute shared details and unveiled five artifacts that will be on display in the upcoming Disney100: The Exhibition, opening February 18th. Larry Dubinski, President and CEO of The Franklin Institute, was joined by Sheila Hess, Philadelphia City Representative, and Rebecca Cline, Director of the Walt Disney Archives, to talk about this monumental exhibit.
This video includes a first look at concept art from several of the 15,000-square-foot exhibit's ten galleries in the, a first listen to music created exclusively for the experience, and the unveiling of 5 artifacts that will be among more than 250 on display. These include:
- Walt Disney's original Disneyland name tag
- The train whistle used in "Steamboat Willie"
- The prop book that introduces the film "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs"
- A Skywalker lightsaber hilt from "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker"
- Tommy Kirk's enchanted ring from "The Shaggy Dog"

Is Disney 100: The Exhibition at the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania opening to the public?
Yes! The exhibit will be opening to the public on February 18th, and I believe it goes until about August 27th

Yes it is
It will be it's coming in February 2023 and then it'll be open
Yea now that Disney is no longer acceptable for children's content you add this. What exactly is the point of this? The institute is supposed to be for science is it not?
While the institute is one of science, museums of all kinds often do shows for movies or big moments. Also, how is Disney not suitable for children?
