  • Sanibel Island Florida took it on the chin with hurricane Ian and the effects will be felt long into the future. Sanibel Island is still a fabulous place to visit, even if you have to walk around a little debris.

I am a *BEACH FRIEND*! Yes I am.

Good evening, Beach Angel and all you virtual shellers! Hope you're all doing well.

  • @jeanepilgrim4926

Thanks as always for the beach adventure, but especially for taking the time to put in clips of the old Sanabel trip. Too many times the beauty around us is taken for granted.

  • @lisacenturelli3239

Thank you for going after the tinies!! My very favorites - I just love the babies!!

  • @Monicacride

Oh dear Lord, it’s heartbreaking but I’ve been keeping up with the progress since hurricane. We’ve been coming to Sanibel/Captiva since ‘95. We are in Marco Island over Labor Day. We will stop by to see our beloved Sanibel. 😔❤️ Thank you for the update and enjoying the beach.😔❤️ Much Love, God Bless!

I was just a little girl when I enjoyed playing on the beach… I’m so envious of you being there and I’m in Oregon

  • @TheWooldiva

All so wonderful, I miss my shelling time, still rebuilding from Ian & Nicole…..hopefully soon we’ll have shelling time❤️

  • @lindarichie2585

Sanibel is still beautiful even though she took a beating! It’s hard to see her so bare though ! In time she’ll be back to her glory and hopefully they will rebuild the lighthouse buildings and walk ways around the lighthouse! ❤

Thank you for the fun picking up the tiny shells. We have those no see ‘ems in RI too. They’re vicious! I’m happy you took care of yourself. ❤️🐚

My family watches your channel every week. I would love to see a video where you show your largest, smallest, most unusual and/or unique color of each shell type you’ve found. I know you don’t have every shell you’ve ever found and some shells may be on display in a container and not easy to get to, but I still think this would a neat idea for a video for the shells you can easily get to. ;)

    WoooHooo! Let's go to the beach 🎶 🎵 🐚 😎

  • @Angela-qg8yg

Appreciate your taking one for the team, or a million!

I am from both coasts in Florida. I lived in North Fort Myers over 40 years ago. I am now in the Midwest and it is elderberry picking time. I have been exposed to no see ums. And their cousins, chiggers. I have used Avon body oil spray to prevent bug bites and this really works even in and out of saltwater. Also for ticks and mosquitoes.

  • @MychelleSeymourHeyyouremember

It's like you're searching for shells at the late 80s Disneyland hotel. They had a beach with tiny shells. My parents took me there when I was 5. I remember the dancing waters too.

  • @hoppas77

I enjoyed this video. They are always relaxing and fun. Thank you

Our friends, capt saladinos grandpa was a lighthouse keeper there on sanabell island

I have never had too much trouble with the noseeums. I cannot believe how they were flying around and covering your poor legs. I LOVED all the buried trees at Lighthouse.

  • @amandafulton6895

I had to drive a critter back to the beach a few weeks ago because there was a hermit crab in there and it never came out or moved until the day after I brought it home!!! I will put my shells on something while at the beach and then again on the counter when I come home to make sure they don't move. I was so glad he finally did right before he went into the bleach bucket!!!

  • @kathycox6420

Even less no seeum bites would have landed me at the urgent care! They are miserable little demon bugs! Glad you got a few good shells. Lighthouse was always my favorite beach.
